The wave of the Internet has influenced the whole society and changed the way people acquire and disseminate information.More and more information is spread through the Internet,and some public events are exposed by the public through various new media.The resulting online public opinion also brings new challenges to the daily management of the public sector.In the era of ‘We Media’,online public opinion has become the focus of public opinion management organized by all walks of life and the government.With the deepening of globalization,Internet users’ intention to safeguard their own rights and interests is also gradually strengthened.About this point,it is highly important to do some research of coping strategies of online public opinion in China’s civil aviation to see what the characteristics of online public opinion are in each stage of development and how to attach importance to and rationally use online public opinion to provide decision-making basis for handling public events,so as to positively promote the smooth resolution of public events.This paper mainly adopts literature research and case analysis,combining the theory of communication and crisis management theory,summarizes the characteristics of online public opinion in the current era.Besides,this paper involves research of the main body of the civil aviation online public opinion and the development trend,and focus on Weibo,which is a representative from the media platform.Two civil aviation online public opinion cases based on the theory of life cycle in different stages of the development of public opinion response is analyzed from different subjects,puts forward the problems and its causes are analyzed.Finally,based on the previous literature and case analysis,the research conclusions are formed,the optimization direction of civil aviation network public opinion response in the era of ‘We Media’ is pointed out,with suggestions put forward on how to improve the management of civil aviation online public opinion,and the strategies to improve the response ability of civil aviation online public opinion are summarized.
