| It is challenging and urgent for all automotive component manufacturers on how to meet more and more competitive automotive market and higher OEM requirements and meanwhile to optimize internal operation efficiency and cost and improve market competition.Only improving operation efficiency and capability consistently can make an enterprise competitive in market and production management system with intelligent manufacturing technology is key.This paper takes TRW Automotive Production Management System(PMS)as an example and discusses its optimization with deployment of intelligent manufacturing,digital production management system and process management related key technology,etc.Firstly,this paper introduces production management system related methodology and key technology,concept and characters of intelligent manufacturing and meaning of smart production management system,which provides theoretical guidance for optimization of TRW PMS on basis of intelligent manufacturing.Secondly,this paper introduces TRW Automotive profile and current PMS,analyze main issues existing and causes,and shows necessity to optimize TRW PMS.Thirdly,TRW PMS current status is analyzed with support of intelligent manufacturing,production management system methodology and process and management technology,issues in production management are clarified,and optimization solution against production management,master scheduling and quality and production data management is studied accordingly.Implementation plan against production management optimization is proposed.Production management system based on intelligent manufacturing can solve issues,like low production management efficiency,high operation cost,low efficiency of communication related with master scheduling,poor quality data management,etc.drive operation excellence on production management and finally enhance core competitiveness of enterprise through study on TRW Automotive current business. |
