The Research On On The Protection And Renewal Design Of Changsha Historic Block From The Place Perspective

With the urban development and renewal in recent decades,Changsha historical block has also experienced a process of gradual decline to revival.This paper is divided into six chapters.This paper is divided into six chapters,starting from the place concept of human geography,through the study of the place and sense of place of Changsha Historical District,as well as the behavior,demand and sense of place of various groups in the historical district,to explore the protection and renewal design methods of Changsha historical block.Chapter one is the introduction,which defines the research background,research object and concept,research purpose and significance,research methods and research framework.Chapter two is the theoretical basis,which expounds the origin and concept of place concept,explains the concepts and related elements of place and sense of place in local concept,and analyzes the guiding significance of humanism in place concept for the protection and renewal of historical blocks.Chapter three is the research on the man-land relationship in Changsha historical block,to master the main categories of groups in the historical block,to understand their behavior,needs and emotional attitude to the historical block.Based on the elements of place and sense of place,the author designs a questionnaire to investigate the satisfaction degree of the research group to the local elements of Changsha historical block and their sense of place to Changsha historical block.By analyzing the questionnaire results,the author finds out the main problems existing in the current elements of Changsha historical block.Chapter four is the exploration of the place and sense of place of Changsha historical block.This chapter makes a field survey of Taiping Street Historical Block,Chaozong Street Historical Block and other historical districts in Changsha,to investigate the street elements,architectural elements,facility elements,cultural elements and commercial elements of them.Chapter five is the protection and renewal design strategy of historical block based on the place perspective;Based on the author’s study and investigation of other historical districts in China,the investigation work and the questionnaire survey results of Changsha historical block,it puts forward protection and renewal design strategies for Changsha historical block from the aspects of streets and lanes,buildings,facilities,culture and commerce.Chapter six is based on the place perspective of historical block protection and renewal design practice;This chapter selects Majia lane for renewal design practice to transform the lane and architectural style,focusing on the renovation of the old red brick warehouse building in it,making it a cultural,art and commercial comprehensive space,and solve the problems existing in the facilities and lane style of Majia lane,to Improve its quality and build a positive sense of place for the group in the lane.Based on the research on the place and sense of place of Changsha historical block,combined with the needs,behavior and sense of place of users,this paper puts forward the protection and renewal design strategy for Changsha historical block,and carries out the design practice,so as to continue the local cultural context of Changsha historical Block,and enhance people’s sense of cultural belonging and life happiness.
