| With the emergence of new technological revolution and industrial revolution,Chinese automobile industry is undergoing great changes not seen in nearly a century,with increasing requirements for intelligent,personalized and customized products.The industry is in a period of transformation and upgrading and high-quality quantitative development,and the competition pattern is being reshaped.With the turning point of Chinese auto production and sales since 2018,the whole market cake may face a trend of decline rather than increase in the next few years.Meanwhile,A company,as an automobile steering wheel manufacturer,is facing unprecedented pressure due to the increasing labor cost,the increasing diversification of customer demand,the increasing number of customer complaints and product defect rate.Under the background of intense external market competition pressure and internal reform for survival,this paper puts forward the question--how to improve the production quality of steering wheel of A company?Lean Six Sigma is just an innovative production quality model.By using DMAIC method,enterprises can understand the root cause,eliminate the root cause of the problem,improve product quality,improve customer satisfaction and enhance the core competitiveness of the company from a scientific and systematic perspective.This paper introduces the application of Lean Six Sigma method in steering wheel production quality improvement.First of all,the basic principle of Lean Six Sigma method is briefly described.Then,DMAIC improvement method is applied to specific products.Through the summary and analysis of production data,it is found that the quality problem of leather wrapping process is the key to the current quality improvement.Through the analysis of measurement system and process capability validation,and using the pareto chart,brainstorming and fishbone diagram,failure mode analysis,causal matrix analysis,the main reason of the problem is that produced equipment such as temperature,pressure and holding time parameter setting are unreasonable.DOE test method and design and response surface model were used to the factor analysis,the optimizer determines the optimal process parameters for quality improvement,verifies the results and standardizes the control.The first pass rate of the final product is improved by 8.57%,and the working time of a piece is saved by 5.34 minutes,which provides a certain reference for the internal promotion of A company and the implementation of Lean Six Sigma in related industries. |
