As the assembly point and hub of water and land transportation,ports carry the functions of comprehensive transportation hubs such as people flow and material transportation.Ports are the gathering place and comprehensive logistics center of capital,commodities,technology and information,which have a large radiation effect on the economy of their cities and hinterlands,and also play a leading role in resource allocation.As an important support for the economic sources of the port,port logistics have played a positive role in driving in the development of the port,the local economy,and even the steady growth of the national economy.To enhance the competitiveness of port logistics is a necessary way to promote the modernization of ports.Among the five major port groups in China,the port group around Bohai has the largest scale of port logistics.As there is uncoordinated development,unclear positioning and even malicious competition between ports,only when each port is clear about its competitive strengths and weaknesses and continues to complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses in the subsequent development process to achieve synergistic development between ports,can we ensure the dominant position of the port cluster in the Bohai Rim in the competition.Based on the above,this thesis evaluates the competitiveness of port logistics in the Bohai Rim region,and the specific research work is as follows:(1)The construction of the evaluation index system of port logistics competitiveness in the Bohai Rim region.Firstly,this thesis analyzes the development status of port logistics in the Bohai Rim region in detail from the perspective of ports and port groups.Combined with the actual development situation,on the basis of meeting the principles of index system construction,specific indicators were selected from six aspects: port logistics infrastructure,port logistics collection and distribution conditions,port city economic level,port logistics scale,port logistics operation capacity,and port logistics development potential,and the final evaluation index system was determined by applying the linear weighting method for index screening.(2)Evaluation and analysis of the competitiveness of port logistics in the Bohai Rim region.Firstly,this thesis sorts out and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the evaluation methods.Combined with the specific research object,this thesis designs the evaluation model constructed by mathematical and statistical methods such as hierarchical analysis,entropy method and gray-TOPSIS method.Based on this evaluation model,the overall and dimensional competitiveness of port logistics of Qingdao port,Yantai port,Rizhao port,Tianjin port,Qinhuangdao port,Dalian port and Yingkou port in the Bohai Rim region was evaluated and analyzed.Horizontally,the overall competitiveness of port logistics from high to low are Tianjin Port,Qingdao Port,Dalian Port,Yantai Port,Rizhao Port,Yingkou Port and Qinhuangdao Port;vertically,the competitiveness of port logistics of each port has improved over the years,and some ports have not improved significantly in some dimensions,or even decreased.(3)The improvement strategy of port logistics competitiveness in the Bohai Rim region is proposed.According to the evaluation and analysis results of port logistics competitiveness in the Bohai Rim region,this thesis proposes the improvement strategies of port logistics competitiveness in the Bohai Rim region from the perspective of individual ports and the Bohai Rim port group respectively,so as to promote the efficient development of port logistics in the Bohai Rim region.The main aspects include analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of ports,recognizing the positioning of ports themselves,strengthening close collaboration between ports and building an integrated transportation system,and accelerating the process of smart port construction.
