| Since 2012,the scale of China’s manufacturing industry has ranked first in the world for many consecutive years.However,it can not be ignored that China’s manufacturing industry is large but not strong,and the core technology is still controlled by others.As one of the few industries with international competitiveness in China’s manufacturing industry,the development of household appliance enterprises is not only facing the common difficulties of manufacturing industry,but also facing the impact of international famous home appliance brands,the weakening pulling effect of real estate industry on home appliance industry,and the ownership of household appliances is close to saturation.With the introduction of many policies on the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry,some household appliance enterprises began to transform from asset-based operation mode to asset light operation mode in order to solve the plight of enterprises.Then,whether the performance of enterprises has improved after the implementation of asset light operation mode,and what is the path of asset light operation mode driving performance,these are issues worthy of our study.In order to research the above questions,this paper adopts the methods of literature research,case study and comparative study,and selects Midea Group as the research object for in-depth case study.The reason why Midea Group is selected as the research object is that on the one hand,Midea Group implemented the asset light operation mode earlier and has relatively complete data;On the other hand,Midea Group has become a benchmark enterprise in the household appliance enterprises,which is very representative.The research contents of this paper mainly focus on the following aspects: First,from the perspective of internal and external environment,deeply explore the necessity and feasibility of the implementation of Midea Group’s asset light operation mode;Second,the implementation strategy of Midea Group’s asset light operation mode;Third,Midea Group’s asset light operation mode drives the path of performance;Fourth,the implementation effect of Midea Group’s asset light operation mode.Through the above research,we can find that: First,the asset light operation mode meets the current development needs of Midea Group;Second,the asset light operation mode optimizes the asset structure of Midea Group;Third,the asset light operation mode promotes the improvement of Midea Group’s performance,and the paths of its asset light operation mode driving performance mainly include: First,Midea Group has improved its core technology and broadened its sales channels by optimizing the allocation of resources,so as to continuously expand its market share;Secondly,Midea Group makes full use of the time difference and the middle position of the enterprise in the supply chain to adopt the quasi financial mode of financing,which reduces the financing cost of the enterprise;Finally,Midea Group implemented the "T+ 3" new production and marketing model,which improved the turnover speed of inventory.These conclusions show that the asset light operation mode has a positive impact on Midea Group.At the same time,it is also hoped that this research can provide corresponding reference ideas for the transformation and upgrading of household appliance enterprises,so as to promote these enterprises to enter the fast lane of development. |
