Research On Quality Improvement Strategy Of Historical Urban Area Based On Symbiosis Theory ——Taking Yixian County As An Example

Modern cities are gradually homogenized in the rapid development of economy and society,and the spatial texture and functional structure of cities tend to be the same,with a thousand cities in one direction and ten thousand buildings in one appearance,which has been confusing to city builders.Numerous historical and cultural city features have attracted much attention.The historical city district is the key area that concentrates the value characteristics of the historical city,witnessing the whole process of the city from birth to development to gradual growth,being a dense area of historical and cultural relics with a strong cultural atmosphere,which is of great significance to enhance the value of the historical city,shape the characteristics of the city,continue the city memory and improve people’s livelihood.In the process of contemporary urban development,however,the historic city district and the new district are self-contained and in isolation,and coupled with the strengthening of modern development for efficiency,the connection between the historic city district and the new city district is further severed.Influenced by different development concepts and lifestyles inside and outside,historic urban areas may suffer from both the impact of modernization and decay in static conservation efforts,which challenges the overall quality improvement of historic urban areas in different degrees and dimensions.Starting from the symbiosis theory,the paper analyzes the applicability and guiding significance of the symbiosis theory for the quality improvement of the historic urban area on the basis of an in-depth interpretation of the basic theory,and constructs a symbiosis development system for the historic urban area from three aspects: symbiosis unit,symbiosis mode and symbiosis environment.Based on the actual case of Yixian County,we analyze and summarize the problems based on the current situation of the three elements of symbiosis in Yixian County,and build a strategy for quality improvement of Yixian County’s historic urban area under the guidance of the symbiosis concept in four aspects: optimizing the mode of heritage and urban construction,strengthening the connection between the historic urban area and urban units,coordinating the symbiosis of new and old spaces within the units,and improving the environment of government supervision and universal participation.Taking into account the protection of historical and cultural resources and modernized revitalization and utilization,it focuses on the transportation,functional and cultural links between the historic district and the city on the one hand;on the other hand,it focuses on the symbiosis of old and new spaces within the historic district,coordinates the active role of the government and the public in shaping the environment,further promotes the implementation of construction and upgrading behaviors,continuously ensures the reasonable operation of the completion mechanism,and forms a three-tier guarantee system from guidance to implementation to supervision.The three-tier guarantee system is designed to promote a new round of transformation and upgrading and urban quality improvement in Yixian County,and to provide reference for the protection and development of historic cities.Figure [75] table [17] reference [80]...
