Research On Optimal Design Of Day Care Center For The Elderly In Huzhou Fenghuang Community Under The Concept Of "Aging In Place"

As an important place to support the elderly,the community has great significance in promoting the development of China’s senior care,but at present it is difficult to have enough space for new elderly facilities in old communities.The State Council proposed to explore the possibility of allowing vacant public rental housing to be provided free of charge to social forces for them to carry out day care,rehabilitation care,elderly education.Therefore,it is of great significance to integrate community resources to convert vacant houses into elderly care facilities that meet the relevant policy standards and the needs of the elderly.This paper firstly introduces the current situation of aging in China and the definition of related concepts,then composes the relevant studies and cases of community elderly care and day care centers for the elderly,and summarizes the problems and needs of the elderly in local day care centers for the elderly.Combining the development of aging in Huzhou and field research data,summarize the problems of local day care centers for the elderly and the needs of the elderly.Finally,design principles and strategies are proposed based on the importance of the elderly as reflected in the concept of "Aging in place".At the same time,the Fenghuang Community Day Care Center for the elderly was designed,I hope to provide a reference for the construction of future elderly facilities.
