The Adaptive Aging Design Of Aging In Place Community In Chaina

With the development of the ageing population, more and more problems are springing up for old living. Community endowment patterns are accepted by the old,due to the advantages of family and institution endowments’ combination. Design,general community lacking the attention for the old and simplifying aged community,is bed for social communications and physical and mental health. Thus, the breakthrough point is urban community. The development and practice of appropriate aging of domestic and foreign community is reviewed and combined. And It is new that come up with aging in place community by combined with the situation of our country.This paper is divided into six parts altogether. The first part puts forward the background and limited concept, clarify the purpose and significant, clear methods and research framework. The second part study the current situation about city community elder-oriented and existing problems, then present a new concept of aging in place community. The third part analyzes the aging in place community patterns and influent factor for subsequent study. The forth part study the elderly-oriented design from three aspects, community site selection, scale and composition, planning layout. And this part comes up with the layout method adopting the centralized and decentralized, the balanced development of community and city, community chronic traffic system of, community rehabilitation of landscape, and so on. The fifth part present some specific design method based on the study from public space of residential architecture, living space, physical environment. The sixth part summarize all of the study.
