Research On Pcket Park Design Based On Restorative Environment Theory

Today,with the vigorous development of urbanization,the general public are facing many negative problems in society while obtaining increasingly rich material life.Not only the urban environment is polluted,but also the area of green space has decreased sharply,and the physical and mental health of citizens has also been threatened.Research by environmental psychologists shows that some natural environments can have a restorative effect on people’s body,and can help urban residents reduce mental fatigue and psychological pressure.Based on its own advantages,pocket park has sprung up in cities at home and abroad in order to meet the needs of urban green space development.This paper adopts the theoretical and practical research methods of park environmental restoration,such as questionnaire and so on.Taking pocket park as the carrier,taking the relevant theories of restorative environment as the theoretical basis,combined with the characteristics and functions of pocket park,this paper summarizes the design principles and methods of making pocket park into a restorative environment.From the perspective of people,environment and society,we will create a pocket park that meets the physical and mental needs of urban residents.Finally,a practical case design of Shanghai guannong park is carried out.The innovative achievements of this paper mainly have two points: first,organically combine the restorative environmental theory of environmental psychology with the design of pocket park,put forward the principles of restorative environmental design of pocket park,discuss its basic design methods,and carry out design practice combined with practical cases;Second,it not only attaches importance to creating an environment with restoration characteristics with park landscape elements,but also emphasizes strengthening and continuing the restorative benefits of pocket park.Let pocket park get rid of the restrictions of conventional parks,so that urban residents can experience pocket park in a more comprehensive way,and make the restorative benefits of pocket park better affect urban residents.
