Intelligent vehicle control algorithms(including Advanced Driver Assistance System ADAS)require a large number of case,a large amount of time and mileage to test and verify during the process of research and development.Research around the world believes that the virtual test and evaluation technology is the most important method to solve the intelligent vehicle test problem.The virtual test and evaluation technology based on the car driving simulator can implement subjective evaluation of the driver in the loop,which is one of the main research directions of intelligent vehicle control algorithm test and evaluation.The Traffic Jam Assist System(TJA)is an integrated system of Stop & Go Adaptive Cruise Control system(ACC)and Lane Keeping Assistance system(LKA).It provides automatic control of vehicles in traffic jam situations.It is the latest Advanced Driver Assistance System which is loaded in car.Developing the system's test and evaluation technology is the key to improving system performance and increasing user acceptance.This dissertation proposes to test and evaluate the Traffic Jam Assist system by using a virtual subjective and objective evaluation method based on a driving simulator to provide technical support for the development of a high-performance and highly acceptable traffic jam assist system.This dissertation has done the following research:1.Research and development of virtual test and evaluation platform of intelligent vehicle based on car driving simulator.This dissertation mainly studies the integration technology of vehicle dynamics model of Jilin University(ASCL)and traffic scene simulation software VTD,the integration technology of VTD and Jilin University car driving simulator,and the intelligent vehicle sensor integration technology based on standard interfaces.Researched and developed a virtual test evaluation platform based on car driving simulator,VTD intelligent vehicle.2.Objective test evaluation method of TJA system.According to the functions and performance characteristics of the TJA system,a test and evaluation method for the TJA system covering longitual and lateral functions and performance is proposed.The test evaluation system consists of 12 scenarios and 53 test cases.Functions and performance of car-following function and lane-keeping were tested and evaluated,and the indexes of test evaluation were determined.3.Subjective test evaluation method of TJA system.This dissertation divides subjective evaluation into two aspects,physiological experience and psychological experience,and proposes a TJA system subjective test evaluation method that uses acceptance and mental workload to evaluate psychological experience and comfort to evaluate physiological experience.The subjective scoring method of 5-point system is used to subjectively score the TJA system.4.Test evaluation and verification of TJA system.Based on the platform and test evaluation method developed in this dissertation,static and dynamic test scenarios were established,and the TJA system that comes with Matlab was tested and evaluated.Objective test evaluations for all 12 test scenarios were completed,as well as subjective evaluation for 10 drivers.After application and verification,the intelligent vehicle virtual test and evaluation platform based on driving simulator fully meets the test and evaluation requirements of the TJA system.The application is convenient and reliable.The researched test and evaluation method can comprehensively test the functions and performance of the TJA system,provide guarantee for TJA system.
