Study On The Gains And Influential Factors Of PMU Collecting Herd Farmers In Yili Prefecture

It is an excellent industry with good scientific value and market prospect to extract estrogen from pregnant horse urine(PMU for short).Yili,Xinjiang,is an important base for pregnant horse breeding and PMU acquisition.The production and operation status and benefits of pregnant horse breeding have a direct impact on the production scale and development prospects of pregnant horse conjugated estrogen and its pharmaceutical preparations.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to understand the production,operation and cost-benefit of pregnant horse breeders in Yili,Xinjiang,for exploring reasonable and effective breeding methods,avoiding market risks and reducing production costs,and for increasing herdsmen’s production and income.In order to understand the production cost and benefit of PMU collectors in Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture,this study selected PMU collectors in Yili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture as the research object to conduct cost-benefit survey.Output and cost data in the establishment of transcendental logarithmic cost function,approximate unrelated regression estimation of PMU collectors cost parameters estimation.Research finds that:(1)The main cost expenditure of PMU collectors is variable cost(60.2%)and manual expenditure(36.17%).The second is feed cost(16.06%).Among the fixed cost(39.8%),the investment cost of horse shed accounted for 28.29%of the total cost,the epidemic prevention cost accounted for 8.19%of the total cost,and the interest expense accounted for the smallest proportion,accounting for only 0.85%of the total cost.(2)Translog cost function estimation shows that the cost of breeding and PMU collection is affected by the input factor price.Among them,the elasticity of labor input is 0.2348;the elasticity of horse shed input is 0.1317;the elasticity of feed input is 0.0474;the elasticity of epidemic prevention input is 0.3401;and the elasticity of interest expenditure is 0.0479.Among them,the elasticity of labor input is the largest,and the total cost will rise by 0.34%when the labor input price rises by 1%.However,the elasticity of interest expenditure is the smallest,and the total cost will rise by 0.04%when the interest expenditure rises by 1%.(3)In terms of economic scale,the total cost output elasticity,the elasticity value is 0.1726,the economic meaning is that when the output increases by 10%,the total cost will increase by 1.726%,indicating that if the breeding of pregnant horses and PMU can increase output,Can reduce unit costs and increase unit profit The density economy is 0.8273,and its value is greater than 0,which has economies of scale.In terms of production scale,pregnant horse breeding and PMU collection can adopt a moderate expansion range;increasing farming can increase the net income of collectors.
