How Rural Households’ Cooperation Embedding Impact On The Adoption Of Ecological Management Of Non-Timber Forest Products

The operation of non-timber forest products is regarded as an important source of economic income by the majority of farmers in the southern collective forest region.However,in order to ensure the current yield,farmers have unreasonable operation behaviors of production factors input(such as excessive use of herbicides and fertilizers)in their daily operation,which leads to the deterioration of ecological environment.Since 2006,when the southern collective forest right system reform comprehensively advancing,farmers forest management mainly family spread,so guide the separate management of non-timber forest products farmers to spontaneous collaborative ecological management of environment friendly,is particularly urgent.Scholars study that specialized cooperative organizations of farmers can organize scattered and small-scale farmers,realize production specialization and scale,and improve farmers’ position in market negotiation.From the perspective of professional cooperative organizations embedding,this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of cooperative organizations embedding on the ecological operation adoption behavior of farmers’ non-timber forest products,which is of great practical significance for improving the promotion effect of ecological operation mode of non-timber forest products and realizing sustainable utilization of resources.According to Zhejiang,Jiangxi,Fujian provinces 378 farmer households survey data,through the theory of industrial organization and farmer behavior theory,based on secondary data and case of descriptive statistics analysis and sample non-timber forest products management present situation,creatively and from the perspectives of cooperative organizations embedding and membership heterogeneity by using econometric model analysis embedded cooperative organizations to farmers ecological management mechanism of the influence of non-timber forest products,and based on this put forward to promote agricultural ecological incentive policy of non-timber forest products.The results showed that the ecological management foundation case points to a certain extent,farmers in Zhejiang province with ecological management technique has obvious results.Farmers becoming members of cooperative organizations can significantly promote farmers to adopt non-timber forest products ecological management.Core members of cooperative organizations are more likely to adopt ecological management techniques than ordinary members.From the point of different ecological forestry technology,embedded cooperatives for farmers to use biological control technology,green manure interplanting technology effect is more significant.On this basis,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Based on farmers’ professional cooperative organizations as the platform,to establish ecological management pilot demonstration.(2)Give full play to the core members of the demonstration leading role,promote forestry ecology management.(3)With the aid of social service system and technical training,enhance the level of agricultural ecological technology.
