In this paper, feeding and digestion experiments and semen collection methods are used to study the effects of protein concentration of concentrate on the digestion of nutrients, blood biochemical indicators, semen quality and blood reproductive hormone levels of male red deer during the pre-breeding and mating period. The suitable concentration and protein level of male red deer in the pre-breeding and mating period is expected to provide a theoretical basis for the scientific breeding of red deer.In this experiment,16 male red deer of healthy and similar weight were selected and randomly divided into 4groups with 4 in each group. The diets with different protein levels(14%,16%,18%,20%)of concentrate were used for a period of time.114-day feeding test in the pre-breeding and breeding period, and detect nutrient digestibility, blood biochemical indicators, and collect semen and blood to detect ejaculate volume, sperm density, deformity rate, vitality, and reproductive hormone levels. The results showed that:(1)The protein level of the concentrate had no significant difference between the groups on the DM,OM,CP,CF,EE,GE,Ca,and P feed intake of the red deer in the early stage of mating(P>0.05),but the refined When the protein level of the feed is 16%,the feed intake of each nutrient substance is the highest, and the overall feed intake tends to increase first and then decrease. There was no significant difference in the effect of concentrate protein level on the nutrient digestibility of red deer in the early stage of mating(P>0.05).With the increase of concentrate protein level, the nutrient digestibility of red deer decreased.Among them, the 16% protein group has a higher digestibility of nutrients.(2)The effect of concentrate protein level on the serum TP,BUN and GLU of the red deer in the early stage of mating was not significant(P>0.05),suggesting that the concentration of protein level had little effect on the blood biochemical indexes of the red deer in the early stage of mating.(3)Concentrate protein level affects the feed intake of various nutrients of the red deer during the mating period. There is no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05).With the increase of the concentrate protein level, the feed intake of the red deer during the mating period decreases. When the concentrate protein level was 14%,the intake of each nutrient substance was the highest.Concentrate protein level has no significant effect on the digestibility of red deer DM,OM,CF,EE,GE,Ca and P during the mating period(P>0.05),among which 14% protein group and 16% protein group have significantly lower crude protein digestibility In the 20% protein group(P<0.05),but compared with the 18% protein group, the difference was not significant(P>0.05).(4)Concentrate protein level had no significant difference in the effect of red deer serum BUN and GLU during the mating period(P>0.05).The TP level of 20% protein group was significantly higher than that of 14% protein group(P<0.05),but compared with other groups The difference is not significant(P>0.05).(5)There was no significant difference between the level of concentrate protein and the semen quality of red deer during the mating period(P>0.05).(6)The level of concentrate protein had no significant effect on the serum FSH,LH and T levels of red deer during the mating period(P>0.05).In summary, the concentrate with a protein level of 16% is conducive to the digestion and absorption of nutrients in the red deer at the early stage of mating, while the concentrate with a protein level of 20% is conducive to the digestion and absorption of nutrients in the red deer during the mating period, but the 14% protein level is refined. The feed can already meet the needs of red deer sperm production during the mating period. |
