Epidemiological Investigation Of Tumor In Pet Dogs In Shenyang Area

With the improvement of living standards,the number of pets feeding is increasing,and the way pets are kept has changed.However,the number of pets diseases is increasing year by year pets in urban Area due to the decrease in exercise.Canine tumor disease is a common canine disease in recent years.The epidemiological analysis of regional canine neoplastic diseases can provide practical support for the diagnosis and treatment of regional canine neoplastic diseases.At present,epidemiological analysis of canine neoplastic diseases in Shenyang is rare.Therefore,this paper analyzed 196 dogs with tumor treated in five pets hospitals in different districts of Shenyang from 2018 to 2020.The epidemiology,diagnosis and treatment prognosis of canine tumor diseases were analyzed.The main conclusions are as follows:From 2018 to 2020,a total of 11204 cases of canine diseases were treated in five pets hospitals in different districts of Shenyang,including 1225 cases of tumor diseases,Which accounting for 10.9% of the sum.Based on the complete data of 196 Canine tummor cases,the clinical symptoms,disease tissue,breed,age,gender and diet structure were analyzed to give a reasonable overview and summary of the incidence of tumor disease in Shenyang.The results showed that breast tumors,skin tumors,perianal tumors and other tumors accounted for 47.96%,33.67%,10.20% and 8.16%,respectively.Pekingba,Golden retriever,Shih Tzu,farm dog,husky,bichbear,Chihuahua and other breeds accounted for 24.49%,17.35%,13.27%,11.22%,9.18%,7.14%,7.14%,3.06% and 7.14%,respectively.The age of onset was mainly 7-15 years old.The incidence rates of dogs on pure dog food,non-dog food,mixed food,partial diet and other diseases accounted for 10.20%,31.63%,22.45%,17.35% and 18.37%.Ten healthy dogs(vaccine-complete and sterilized)were selected as controls,and 30 tumor cases were selected,including 12 breast tumor cases,12 skin tumor cases and 6 other tumor cases.Benign and malignant tumors were 15 cases each.The concentrations of oncoembryonic antigen,alpha-fetoprotein,carbohydrate antigen 125 and malignant tumor-specific growth factor in serum were determined.In conclusion,Most tumor markers are broad-spectrum tumor markers,but there are significant differences in tumor expression in different tissues.It can be combined with the malignant tumor specific growth factor to judge the nature of breast and skin tumors,and the tumor location can be determined according to the determination value of carbohydrate antigen 125.30 cases of breast tumors and 30 cases of skin tumors were selected as the investigation objects.According to the clinical manifestations of the affected dogs and the results of X ray,B ultrasound,pathological biopsy,etc.,different surgical plans were made according to the conditions of different affected animals.The results showed that the cure rate was 93.3%,62.5% and 85.7%,respectively in the benign surgery group,the malignant surgery group and the malignant surgery and chemotherapy group.The cure rate of benign skin tumor surgery group,malignant skin tumor surgery group and malignant skin tumor chemotherapy group were 100%,75% and 80%,respectively.The prognostic effect of operation plus chemotherapy on malignant tumor is better than that of operation alone.
