| Changshan Archipelago is located in the northern Yellow Sea of China,with a unique geographical location and superior fishery environment.In the early and middle Qing Dynasty,the sea ban policy brought opportunities and challenges for the development of Marine Fisheries in Changshan Islands;in the late Qing Dynasty,with the increasing development of local fisheries,cross-border fishing events occurred frequently in this area,and the rulers of the Qing Dynasty and North Korea constantly issued relevant policies to manage the problem;in the late Qing Dynasty,Japan occupied Changshan Islands,which had a negative impact on the development of Fisheries in Changshan Islands At the same time,it also promotes the modernization of local marine fishery management to a certain extent.Based on the collection and textual research of historical documents and modern people’s data,this paper comprehensively and systematically shows the development situation and track of marine fishery activities in Changshan Islands.The full text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter analyzes the sea area,fishery resources,fishing tools and operation methods of Changshan Islands,and briefly introduces the seafood processing methods in this area.The second chapter mainly discusses the origin,identity of fishermen and the development of regional fisheries organizations.The origin of the fishermen groups in the sea area is mainly based on their native place and nationality.The identities of these people are mainly businessmen and pirates,which also involves smuggling merchants and other issues.In addition,the development of fishery organizations in the area shows different characteristics due to different periods.In the early Qing Dynasty,the Houhou palace was the center,while in the late Qing Dynasty,the fishery companies with modern characteristics were the main ones.The third chapter takes Changshan Islands fishing dispute as the primary research object.Due to the particularity of the island’s geographical location,in the early and middle Qing Dynasty,the people of China and North Korea often committed overfishing in the sea area.For the occurrence of this problem,the Qing government adopted corresponding fishery management policies and measures in different periods;in the late Qing Dynasty,Japan occupied the Changshan Islands and carried out large-scale fishing activities,which involved fishing disputes and fishery management It is also worth exploring.The fourth chapter briefly describes the influencing factors and characteristics of fishery development in Changshan Islands.The factors that affect the fishery activities of Changshan islands can be divided into two aspects: natural and man-made.The change of natural conditions will have an uncontrollable impact on fishery activities,and man-made policies and war colonial factors also affect the fishery development of Changshan Islands.In the Qing Dynasty,the fishery development of Changshan Islands experienced ups and downs,and its fishery activities also have their own regional characteristics.Since the Qing Dynasty,the development of fishery activities in Changshan Archipelago has a lot to do with its geographical location and current policy.The advantaged natural conditions are conducive to the development of fishery activities,and the current situation and policies of the Qing Dynasty have continuously affected the development of marine fishery in this region.This paper,by combing the development of fishery activities in Changshan Islands,shows in detail the unique features of fishery activities in Changshan Islands in Qing Dynasty,which is conducive to deepening the study of marine fishery in this region and has certain significance for the development of fishery activities in islands. |
