| In order to fully understand the epidemiological characteristics of canine fungal skin diseases in Ordos region and improve the diagnostic accuracy and cure rate of canine skin diseases,a total of 96 dogs with fungal dermatosis from 10 police dog bases in ordos city from July 2019 to June 2020 were selected as the research subjects.The purpose was to comprehensively analyze the relationship between the disease and season,age,gender and breed.By using Wood lamp and microscope diagnosis,the detection rate of the equipment was calculated,and the efficient diagnosis method was summarized.Five treatment methods were formulated according to the different drug combinations to screen the optimal drug regimen.The investigation results showed that there were 96 cases of dog fungal skin diseases,which mainly occurred from June to September.Long-haired dogs such as German Shepherd Dog and springer spaniel were susceptible to diseases.The incidence of this disease was higher among the young dogs under the age of 3,especially under 1 year old,accounting for about 51.04% of the total cases.The detection rates obtained with Wood lamp and microscope were 76.04% and 66.67%,respectively.The combined use of Wood lamp examination and microscope could prevent missed diagnosis,with 100% detection rate.The clinical treatment showed that the cure rate was 60% when only itraconazole capsules were used,70% when povidone iodine solution was used,84% when povidone iodine solution and terbinafine tablets were used,84% when terbinafine spray and terbinafine tablets were used,and 93.75% when No.1 anti-fungal injection and terbinafine spray were used supplemented with Mr.Merck’s fungal shampoo,respectively.According to the study results,for puppies younger than 3 years old,the majority of the episodes occurred from June to September each year and the diagnostic method was Wood lamp examination with a microscope.The best therapeutic combination was No.1anti-fungal injection and a drug combination of terbinafine spray with Mr.Merck’s fungal shampoo. |
