High-quality agricultural technical personnel are the key to promote the modernization of agriculture. The agricultural vocational college is the cultivating base of high skilled personnel of agriculture, which provides and reserves personnel for agricultural modernization. This study discusses how to cultivate high quality and high skilled personnel in agricultural vocational colleges from the perspective of talent cultivation, which can meet the talents demand of modern agriculture and promote the development of modern agriculture. Moreover, it can not only provide theoretical framework for the construction of the training mode of high skilled personnel with high quality relating to agriculture in vocational colleges; but also put forward some effective suggestions for the problems in the construction of agricultural talents training.Based on the analysis of talent training mode containing employment-oriented goals, work-study combination, integration of Production-Learning-Research in agriculture related majors in agricultural vocational colleges, this study pointed out that there exist a few problems, including deviation of localization of target, bad personnel training condition, lack of school-enterprise cooperation, and weak awareness education for serving agriculture. This thesis did a case study of the talent training mode named “combination of production and education, combination of work and study” in Guangdong Agriculture Industry Business Polytechnic.The author analyzed the personnel training mode of Crop Production Technology major, which presents that farm and school is a whole system, keeping up with farming, farming and reading together and whole process practice. In addition, the personnel training mode of Agricultural Product Quality Determination major presents school enterprise integration, learning integration, project oriented, and progressive cycle. The study summed up the case training mode relying on the Guangdong province agriculture industrial group and the characteristics of the curriculum system in the south subtropical agriculture industry. And the characteristics such as breaking the fixed semester and academic year system, the implementation of “integration of production and education”, “farming” teaching and the Work Process-oriented circular progressive implementation of the characteristics of the whole course practice teaching model, through the “two classroom interaction”, the cultivation of students' independent innovation and entrepreneurial ability, “being of countrified simplicity and fashionable elements”, to train students to adapt to the characteristics of overseas employment.Under the background of the rapid development of modern agriculture, the agricultural higher vocational colleges should strive to build a high quality training and orientation for the regional modernization of agriculture, improve the path of personnel training, increase cooperation with agricultural leading enterprises, carry out school-enterprise cooperation from production, research range, pay attention to training students for the soft power of agricultural services for security personnel training mode. These colleges should focus on building a professional group correspondence to the regional industrial group, covering the industrial chain, strong grasp of the construction of teaching staff,and adjust the teaching content according to the needs of the market, adopt flexible teaching methods according to the characteristics of the course, and constantly improve the level of training personnel, training high-quality skilled talents, for the regional development of agriculture at the same time. At the same time, students should be guided to choose agriculture, love agriculture, serve for agriculture through professional education, employment guidance, campus cultural activities practice experience, so that graduates from agriculture-related majors can choose to enter and stay in agricultural enterprises.
