| ObjectiveTaking the traditional acupuncture as the control group,to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of the scalp point-through-point with auricular point acupuncture for tinnitus of kidney essence deficiency type,in order to provide new ideas for the clinical treatment of tinnitus and optimize the treatment methods.MethodsSixty-four patients were randomly divided into test group and control group with the same capacity of 32 people.The control group was treated with traditional acupuncture.Its main points were Tingong,Tinghui and Yifeng,all by affected side.The test group was treated by the scalp point-through-point with auricular point acupuncture.Its’main points were Baihui,Sishencong and bilateral Yuntingqu,based on the control group.Both groups were matched with bilateral Shenshu and Taixi.The patients were treated 5 times a week and rested at weekends for 4 weeks.The Tinnitus Effects Questionnaire(TEQ),the Tinnitus Handicap Inventory(THI)and the functional score(f),catastrophic score(c)and emotional score(E)in THI were observed and the clinical effect was analyzed statistically.Results1.There was no significant difference between the two groups in gender,age,course of disease,affected side,grade distribution,the score of TEQ and THI,the F,C and E score in the THI before treatment(P>0.05).2.TEQ2.1 the score:There was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the test group and control group(P<0.05).It shows that the intervention measures of the test group and the control group can effectively reduce the score of TEQ scale,and the test group is better than the control group.2.2 the clinical efficiency:The total effective rate was 83.87%in the treatment group and 73.33%in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.THI3.1 the score:There was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the test group and control group(P<0.05).It shows that the intervention measures of the test gr oup and the control group can effectively reduce the score of THI scale,and the test group is better than the control group.3.2 the clinical efficiency:The total effective rate was 80.65%in the treatment group and 70.00%in the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).4.Each score of THIthe F score:There was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the test group and control group(P<0.05).It shows that the intervention measures of the test group and the control group can effectively reduce the F score of THI scale,and the test group is better than the control group.the C score:There was significant difference between the two groups befor e and after treatment(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the difference of test group and control group(P>0.05).It shows that the intervention measures of the test group and the contr ol group can effectively reduce the C score of THI scale.But the improvement of the two group were the same.the E score:There was significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the test group and control group(P<0.05).It shows that the intervention measures of the test group and the control group can effectively reduce the E score of THI scale,and the test group is better than the control group.Conclusion1.Both of the scalp point-through-point with auricular point acupuncture and the traditional acupuncture can treat the tinnitus of kidney essence deficiency type.The therapeutic effect of the two methods is equivalent.2.The scalp point-through-point with auricular point acupuncture has advantages in reducing the score of tinnitus evaluation scale and tinnitus disability scale to the traditional one.3.Both of the scalp point-through-point with auricular point acupuncture and the traditional acupuncture can reduce the score of the three items in the THI.The scalp point-through-point with auricular point acupuncture has advantages in reducing the function score and emotion,score of patients,which is equivalent in reducing the severity score. |
