The Principles On Liver Cirrhosis Treatment Of Famous And Experienced Chinese Medicine Experts:A Data Mining Analysis

Objective:This study was aimed at investigating the treatment rules of liver cirrhosis based on mining the effective cases dating back from the Ming dynasty.The clinical TCM syndromes,treatment methods as well as medication used were systematically summarized and analyzed.It should be an effective approach to conclude the experience on the liver cirrhosis treatment of famous and experienced Chinese medicine experts,which could deepen our understandings of liver cirrhosis treatment and probably provide references for clinical practice in the future.Methods:A comprehensive literature search of the China Network Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)database,Viper Journal database(VIP),wanfang data,China biomedical database(CBM)was performed.In addition,cases on liver cirrhosis from The Series of Hundreds of Famous Clinicians of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China and Redefining the Golden Mirror of Ancient and Modern Doc tors were also collected.TCM syndromes,syndrome patterns,treatment principles and herbs were extracted from the collected cases.Network diagrams were visualized by cytoscape3.7.2.The association rules of main symptom,syndrome,treatment and traditional Chinese medicine were analyzed.Results:A total of 288 cases were obtained from the literature search.According to the mining results,the common symptoms of liver cirrhosis are loss of appetite,fatigue,adverse urination,abdominal distention,swelling of the lower limbs,abdominal fullness,loose stools,tan complexion,etc.The common patterns of cirrhosis are spleen deficiency,qi stagnation,liver and kidney Yin deficiency,spleen and kidney Yang deficiency.The common treatment is to clearing damp and promoting diuresis,promote blood circulation to remove stasis,regulating qi to remove stasis.The general principles of treatment include soothing liver and regulating qi,strengthening spleen,clearing damp and promoting diuresis,promoting blood circulation and removing stasis,nourishing liver and kidney,and warming kidney and strengthening Yang.Commonly used Chinese medicine atractylodes,poria cocos,angelica sinensis,salvia miltiorrhiza,alisma.Common medicine pairs are atractylodes macrocephala-Poria cocos ","alism-grifola","pericarpium areacae-poria cocos","semen plantaginis-poria cocos","pericarpium citri reticulatae-poria cocos","turtle shell-salvia miltiorrhiza","radix paeoniae alba-angelica sinesis".The herb combination formed by data mining is Atractylodes,poria cocos,paethereal skin,radix codonopsis codonopsis,red peony root,trionyx trionyx,radix miltiorrhiza miltiorrhiza,radix paeoniae root,radix paethereum,radix plantaginis.Conclusion:Taken together,the rules of common and primary symptoms,tongue and pulse,clinical patterns,treatment principles,herbs prescription of liver cirrhosis were summarized,which was consistent with the TCM pathophysiology of liver cirrhosis.It may be helpful for the treatment of liver cirrhosis.This study provide a reference for clinical treatment.
