Abstract/Summary:
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of "four step" laparoscopic radical resection of right colon cancer. Methods:Retrospective analysis was conducted on 100 patients who were admitted to the Tenth People’s Hospital Affiliated to Tongji University for laparoscopic radical resection of right colon cancer from September 2017 to September 2019.Patients who met the criteria were selected for case matching, including 50 patients in the experimental group who received "four-step" laparoscopic radical resection of right colon cancer, and 50 patients in the control group who did not receive "four-step"laparoscopic radical resection of right colon cancer. The operative time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative exhaust and defecation time, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative drainage tube placement time, the number of lymph nodes dissected at each stage, the number of positive lymph nodes dissected and postoperative complications were compared between the two groups.RESULTS:The operative time, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative exhaust defecation time and hospital stay of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).The postoperative drainage tube placement time of the experimental group was better than that of the control group, with statistical difference(P<0.05).The two groups in Ⅰ stage, stage Ⅱand Ⅲ cleaning the lymph node number no significant statistical difference(P>0.05).Conclusion:Four steps laparoscopic radical resection of right colon cancer can achieve the same effect as other methods of laparoscopic radical resection of right colon cancer. In addition,it can reduce the amount of intraoperative blood loss, shorten the operation time, reduce postoperative complications, detect more positive lymph nodes, and obtain higher quality surgical specimens.
