Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Stable Angina Pectoris With Qi Stagnation And Blood Stasis By Xiaoyao Powder

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xiaoyao Powder in the treatment of stable angina pectoris with qi stagnation and blood stasis.Methods:This study used self-control method before and after treatment.In this study,40 cases were observed,and finally observed 36 cases.The patients were selected from May 2020 to December 2021 who visited professor Ji Li’s outpatient of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other outpatients.The patients’ age were between 50 and 70 years old.The patients met the diagnostic criteria of stable angina pectoris with qi stagnation and blood stasis.In the course of treatment,the patients were given 150 ml Xiaoyao Powder decoction before breakfast and after dinner.The patients were asked not to use other medicines for stable angina pectoris except Xiaoyao Powder decoction and nitroglycerin.Filling out observation form once a week and record relevant data(Including the TCM syndrome performance,Angina score scale,the cease and reduce rate of nitroglycerin,etc).After 2 weeks of treatment,we observed the changes of the above recorded data to evaluate the therapeutic effects.Results:1.TCM syndrome score: The syndrome score after 1 week of treatment(7.75±1.86)and the syndrome score after 2 weeks of treatment(4.14±1.68)were decreased comparing with that before the treatment(12.22±3.28).The syndrome score in the second week decreased more than that in the first week.The difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).The total effective rate was 91.67% after 2 weeks of treatment.2.Angina score: The total angina score after 1 week of treatment(9.28±3.07)and after 2 weeks of treatment(5.11±3.46)were decreased compared with that before the treatment(14.11±2.79).The decrease was more significant in the second week than that in the first week.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate was 88.89% after 2weeks of treatment.3.Nitroglycerin cessation: Nitroglycerin cessation rate increased after treatment.The increase was significant in the second week compared with the first week.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The discontinuation rate after 1 week of treatment was 52.78%,the discontinuation rate after 2 weeks of treatment was 91.67%.Conclusion:1.Xiaoyao San Decoction can effectively reduce the TCM syndrome scores of stable angina pectoris with qi stagnation and blood stasis;2.Xiaoyao Powder decoction can effectively reduce clinical angina pectoris symptoms of stable angina pectoris with qi stagnation and blood stasis;3.Xiaoyao Powder decoction can effectively reduce the amount of nitroglycerin in patients with stable angina pectoris with qi stagnation and blood stasis.
