| Folk cultural activities are important carriers of traditional culture and a series of material and spiritual cultural phenomena formed by the masses in their daily life and production.Whether before or now,the government played a leading role in the formation and evolution of folk cultural activities,and played an important role in inheriting and protecting national cultural heritage.As an annual characteristic cultural activity in Guangfu area,the "traditional spring flower market" is a provincial intangible cultural heritage of Guangdong Province.It has a long history and has condensed and precipitated the unique flower culture and the traditional culture of Lingnan area.However,with the development of society,people’s lifestyle and consumption patterns have changed.This folk cultural activity inevitably suffers a great impact,which makes this popular cultural activity develop from prosperity to indifference.In order to better protect and inherit this folk cultural activity,since 2013,the Guangzhou Baiyun Government has officially listed the construction of traditional spring flower market card in 100 key supervisory projects.It has set up the Guangzhou traditional spring flower market ’s Organizing Committee for festival activities,continued to expand the influence of the traditional spring flower market in Guangzhou,and devoted itself to further development and innovation on the basis of traditional spring flower market.It will expand into a series of festival activities in the traditional spring flower market with more rich cultural connotations and forms of activities.Taking traditional spring flower market in Baiyun District of Guangzhou as an example,this paper studies the role of Baiyun District Government in the development of Baiyun District in Guangzhou by using the methods of literature research,expert interviews,questionnaire survey and comparative study.This paper analyses the status quo of traditional spring flower market and government role-playing in Baiyun District of Guangzhou,points out the problems existing in the traditional spring flower market of Baiyun District,and analyses the causes of the problems according to offside,vacancy and dislocation.Based on the reference of the role played by the local government in the cultural activities at home and abroad,this paper tries to optimize the future development of the traditional spring flower market.The government should play the following roles: the promoter of the change of management mode,the provider of public services in the traditional spring flower market,the coordinator of stakeholders,and the promoter of brand cultural propaganda in traditional spring flower market. |
