Study On Ye Xianzu And His Drama Creation Under Yue Culture

Ye Xianzu,a famous Chinese drama artist in Yuezhong in the late Ming Dynasty,created a large number of poetic drama and legendary work in his life,known as "Generation of flag bearers",and occupied a certain position in the dramatic world in the Ming Dynasty.As a person in Yuyao of Yuezhong,Ye was influenced by the culture of Yue,so his spiritual character and ideological characteristics all showed more prominent characteristics of Yue culture.This article takes the Ming Dynasty composer Ye Xianzu and his drama creation in the context of Yue culture as the research object,puts his growth and creation under the background of the Yue culture,analyzes the characteristics of Yue culture from the generation and development,and then analyzes the influence on the Ye Xianzu.On the one hand,it is the influence on Ye’s own,mainly combined with Ye Xianzu’s life experience,creation situation and friendship to investigate.On the other hand,it probes into the influence of Yue culture on Ye Xianzu’s literary creation,mainly on the ideological and artistic features presented in his drama works.The paper includes the following sections:Chapter one,The background of Ye Xianzu’s drama creation.This chapter discusses the existence and creation background of Ye Xianzu since ancient times in terms of Yuezhong’s regional culture environment,human culture environment and drama creation environment.That is,terrain culture and the spirit of "advocating force" to the shaping of the character of the Yuezhong people,landscape culture and "advocating culture" tradition on the literary literacy of Yuezhong people,and the accumulation and development of Yuezhong drama to the guidance of the Yuezhong people in literary creation.Finally,a brief overview of the influence of Yue culture on Ye Xianzu.Chapter two,Ye Xianzu’s life experience and friendship.This chapter intends to examine Ye’s life track under the background of Yue culture in the three parts of Ye’s ill-fated official career,rich and diverse literary creation and extensive and close communication with friend.Chapter three,Ye Xianzu’s drama thought.This chapter mainly discusses Ye Xianzu’s thought of drama in the spirit of Yue culture background,through the three types of drama to explain.They are the talented and beautiful women drama of "revolt against rebellion",the social and historical drama of "martial arts and courage",and the buddhist and zen religious drama of "preaching".Chapter four,Ye Xianzu’s drama art.This chapter attempts to discuss the artistic features of Ye Xianzu’s opera as a member of the Yuezhong Drama Group in the three aspects of the plot design,elaborate structure arrangement,and inclusive drama language.Ye Xianzu,as a drama artist in the late Ming Dynasty,stepped out of the cultural field of Yue,then his life and literary creation all have certain characteristics of Yue culture.It is of great significance to grasp the spiritual essence and artistic characteristics of Ye’s drama works in the cultural context to enrich the study of drama literature in Yuezhong to a certain extent.
