| The research object of this paper,the Buddhist " Shenwang ",has always been an important research topic in art history.For various reasons,different scholars refer to different images in this paper.It is particularly important to clarify the research object of this paper by sorting out the images of the Shenwang,the "Lishi" and the " Yaksha " which are easily confused with the Shenwang in academic.In this paper,the Eastern Wei and Northern Qi period of the Shenwang in Yecheng area as the research object,the development of Buddhism in Yecheng area of political,economic,cultural and other background factors as well as the background of the opening of the Grottoes in Yecheng were discussed,in order to grasp the formation of the Shenwang statues with regional characteristics in Yecheng area in the macro context.The author investigated most of the Grottoes in Yecheng area and collected the image data of the Shenwang in Yecheng area.According to the inscriptions of the Shenwang in Luo Zi Kuan’s statues,which are the criteria for identifying and judging the Shenwang in the academic circle,and the corresponding images,as well as the common characteristics of the same identity category of the Shenwang,this paper carefully compares the identity categories of the Shenwang distributed in the Grottoes in Yecheng area,analyzes the characteristics of their statues,and further discusses the identity of some controversial Shenwangs.By referring to the relevant academic achievements and literature,this paper makes a comparative analysis of the statues of the Shenwang in different periods,such as "Beiliang stone tower",Dunhuang Grottoes,Yungang Grottoes,Longmen Grottoes,Gongxian grottoes,etc.in the Northern Dynasty,to explore the subtle changes in the development and evolution of the statues of the Shenwang in terms of style,quantity,body type,clothing,handheld objects,and sort out the development and changes of the image of the Shenwang Then explore the inheritance and choice of the image of Shenwang in the development process.According to a large number of research data,the preliminary image data of the image of the Shenwang are sorted out,and it is realized that the change of the image of the Shenwang is an important symbolic element in the process of the Sinicization of Buddhism.This thesis explores the influencing factors of the formation of the artistic characteristics of the Shenwang statues in Yecheng area,and then discusses the origin and development of the Buddhism Shenwang statues.The evolution of the Shenwang female image is also an important research content of this thesis.The development and change of the Shenwang image on the one hand reflects the Sinicization of the foreign artistic image,on the other hand reflects the Chinese culture to Buddhism Interpretation of foreign culture.As an artistic achievement after the choice of Buddhist cultural exchange,the statue of the Shenwang in Yecheng area of Northern Qi Dynasty should be an important supplement to the study of Chinese art history and the integration of Chinese traditional culture and Western culture through the research and analysis of the art of the statue of the Shenwang in the Grottoes of Yecheng area. |
