On Confucius and Marx’s "On Becoming A Person" thought,In essence,it is to sort out and understand the theoretical characteristics and value orientation of the two kinds of human thoughts of Marx and Confucianism,to find the place where the two kinds of great thoughts can be integrated,to provide modern people with a kind of wisdom that is broad-based,modern,and Chinese and western. Both of them are based on human itself, and interpret the development law of social history from the perspective of human itself. On the issue of human nature,Confucius regards "benevolence" as the inner nature of human beings, and Marx regards it as "freedom"."Benevolence" and "freedom" are both from the perspective of human beings to explain the difference between human beings and animals,so as to confirm the nature of witnesses. On the issue of human value,Confucius hoped that "gentleman’s personality" and Marx’s "free and comprehensive development" would be embodied as follows:both are the value ideals proposed based on the living predicament of human beings under the social conditions at that time, and their personality ideals will eventually focus on each individual. On practical issues,Confucius’ theory of self-cultivation Kungfu and Marx’s "building a real collective" will be embodied in the following aspects: both of them emphasize that people improve themselves and change themselves in practice,so as to realize the value of life;both of them want to achieve an ideal society in line with human nature;both of them focus on personal practice and emphasize the generation of each individual’s personality.
