Korean painting in the 18 th century is more splendid than ever before in the history of Korean art.The late 1980 s of North Korea was an era of political and social stability,rapid economic development,and charm of culture and art.In that era,Kim Hong Do,as a painter of the painting department at that time,showed his outstanding artistic talents in Southern school of paintings,life pictures,fairy pictures,Taoist figure paintings,flower and bird paintings,true landscape paintings,and portrait paintings.Together with Jeong Seon,is called the two great mountains in the late Korean painting.Among them,he combined the real-life landscape in the real landscape painting field to transform and develop the Zun method,which is more realistic and meticulous than Jeong Seon painting,and formed his own unique style of painting,which has a huge and far-reaching influence on the painting circle in the late Korean period.This article starts with the background of the Kim Hong Do activity,combines a large number of museum paintings and documents to examine the landscape of Kim Hong Do’s ture-view landscape in detail,examines the impact of Southern school of paintings and the changes of times on Kim Hong Do’s ture-view landscape painting,and the development of the painter’s own painting style.Kim Hong Do’s ture-view landscape paintings are being studied.
