A Defense Of Marx’s Moral Paradox Based On The Historical Materialism

Marx’s moral paradox has a long history in academic circles,and the existence of this problem poses a threat to the systematic and scientific nature of marxist theoretical system.,the main performance is that it may destroy the integrity of marxist theoretical system and its theoretical persuasion.On the basis of investigating the academic appearance and historical exploration of Marx’s moral paradox,this study dispels Marx’s moral paradox from five aspects: academic appearance,Marx’s own testimony,the defense of historical materialism,classical writer’s defense,value and significance,and proves that Marx not only did not oppose morality,but also created a Marxist moral view which is different from feudal morality and capitalist morality.Marx’s moral view,through the denial of the capitalist moral body,has abandoned the modern western moral methodology,and put forward a communist morality that advocated the free and full development of the people,and established this kind of morality on the scientific basis of the historical materialism.Historical materialism is an important part of marxist philosophy,it is the world outlook and methodology formed by combining materialism with historical viewpoints,and a new world outlook of Marx,it provides a scientific theoretical perspective for the defense of Marx’s moral paradox and the interpretation of Marx’s moral view.Historical materialism offers the possibility of defending Marx’s moral view from four aspects,restoring the social ethical function of morality,making morality move from abstract to concrete,keeping the aim of theory consistent with the objectivity of morality,and realizing the unification of scientific and humane dimensions.Through the analysis of the paradigm of western moral theory,this paper holds that there is a misreading and misleading phenomenon of Marx’s morality.On the basis of a new marxist world view,this paper explains the methodology of Marx’s moral argumentation.In the view of historical materialism,the content of Marx’s moral view is rich,including four dimensions,which are the morality of history,the moral of practice,the morality of class and the morality of liberation.After Marx’s death,Marxist classical writers Engels,Lenin and Mao Zedong provided a defense for Marx’s morality from all angles.By sorting out and defending Marx’s moral paradox,this study not only clarifies the marxist methodology,but also provides theoretical guidance for the construction of socialist morality in China,the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and the realization of man’s all-round and free development.
