Research On The Corresponding Nature Of Marxism And Mencius’ Thought

Since modern times,various modern western thoughts have been introduced into China,Marxism also entered China with the spreading of the Western thoughts to the East,and it has taken the leading position in Chinese socialist culture.Among the numerous external thoughts,Marxism can stand out to become the guiding ideology of Chinese revolution and construction,one of the most important reasons is that there is corresponding nature between Marxism and Chinese traditional culture.As an indispensable part of Chinese traditional culture,Mencius’ thought has far reaching influence,especially after Song Dynasty when Neo-Confucianism was very popular,Mencius’ thought attracted much attention of rulres and spreaded far and wide.Chinese traditional culture has played an important role in the process of the introduction of Marxism into China and development in China.Therefore,this article takes Mencius’ thought as an example,to research the corresponding nature between Marxism and Mencius’ thoughts,so that it can provide a new choice for the further integration of Marxism and traditional Chinese culture and a new perspective for the further development of Sinicization of Marxism.This article can be divided into the following four parts:In the first part,from a macro perspective,it summarizes the important role of Chinese traditional culture in the introduction of Marxism into China and development in China,and the corresponding nature between Marxism and Chinese traditional culture.At the same time it outlines the position of Mencius’ thought in Chinese traditional culture.The first part is to explain why the article studies corresponding nature between Marxism and Chinese traditional culture in the perspective of Mencius’ thoughts,and the reason is that traditional Chinese culture played an important role in the process of the spreading and development of Marxism in China,and Mencius’ thought holds an important position in Chinese traditional culture.The second part mainly expounds the corresponding nature between classical Marxism and Mencius’ thought,and the corresponding nature can be explained from the seven aspects of politics,economy,culture,society,individual,ecological civilization,and theoretical quality,as reflected in emphasizing the importance to people’s status politically,the fundamental status of the economy and the development of education culturally,pursuing an ideal society and carrying out social construction,pursuing human development,pursuingecological civilization on the basis of respecting the nature,having revolutionary theoretical qualities and so on.This part is the key part of the article,and also the innovation of this article.The third part discusses that Sinicization of Marxism absorbs Mencius’ thought based on the corresponding nature between Classical Marxism and Mencius’ thought.It mainly includes in mass view,economy,culture,social construction,all-round development of human beings,ecology and revolution that absorption of Mencius’ s people-oriented,emphasis on economy,emphasis on education,ideal society,focus on people,the unity of nature and man,recognition of the revolution and other aspects.This part is mostly the innovation of this article.The fourth part is the significance of the research on the corresponding nature between Marxism and Mencius’ thought.The research on the corresponding nature has the significance of the guidelines to promote the further development of Sinicization of Marxism,the modernization transformation of Mencius’ thought,the development of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics,and the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
