Education is a topic that deserves to be discussed at any time.Revolution of the education industry deepens with the rapid development of internet technology in today’s world.Internet technology exerts a huge effect on education,it makes education industry “borderless”.YunnanSouth & Southeast Asia Education Forum has provided a free communication platform for the countries and organizations from South and Southeast Asia to exchange experiences and to seek the chance of cooperation since 2018.The representatives from different countries and regions gathered together trying their best to mend their weak points with strongpoints of others and to promote the development of their own and world’s education.In order to explore the interpreting rules and methods in the field of “ Internet + Education” as well as to perform better in her future interpreting activities of this topic,the author chose “Yunnan-South & Southeast Asia Education Forum” to do her simulated conference interpretation.This report focuses on the stimulated interpreting activity of “2018 Yunnan-South & Southeast Asia Education Forum”.Combining this essay’s guiding theory,the Skopos Theory,with the feature of simultaneous interpretation of the Forum,the author analyzed her cases by adopting such interpretation skills as omission,transliteration plus annotation,paraphrasing and so on.This report is divided into five parts.The first part describes the simulated interpreting activity.The second part is the process of simulated interpreting activity.The third part introduces the Skopos Theory and its application in interpretation.The fourth part analyzes the cases in the simulated interpreting activity.The fifth part is the summary of this report.
