A Study Of Taboo Themes In Bai Folk Stories Of Dali

Taboo theme is an important type of folktale,which contains rich cultural connotation and releases dazzling cultural energy in folk literature.Through field investigation,collecting Bai folk stories,finding a large number of taboo theme stories,the author put these taboo themes in the cultural background of Bai people to investigate,study the expression and reflection of taboo in folk stories from various angles and aspects,and reveal the rich cultural accumulation of taboo themes.This paper takes the collected Bai ethnic group taboo theme story as the research object,uses the research methods of the theme and type of storytelling,and combines with the research methods of ethnology,anthropology,folklore to study and analyze the taboo theme in Bai ethnic group folk story from multiple perspectives.This paper is divided into five parts.In the introduction,the author briefly expounds the reason of writing,research status,significance of writing and research methods.In the first chapter,according to the plot types of taboo themes,the taboo themes in Bai folk stories are divided into five types: the taboo theme of ancestral marriage,the taboo theme of Swan Maiden,the taboo theme of peeping,the taboo theme of treasure and the taboo theme of Oracle.The second chapter analyzes the five taboo themes and explores the cultural connotation.The third chapter discusses the function and value of the taboo theme in the Bai folk story.The taboo theme has the important function of spreading the taboo folk custom,educating and coordinating the people,and also plays the cultural and literary value.In the conclusion,the author once again sums up the cultural connotation and value of the taboo theme in Bai folk stories,and expounds the author’s views and shortcomings.It is of great significance for the study and research of Bai folk literature and folklore to interpret the story of taboo theme,explore the transformation relationship between taboo folk custom and folklore,and excavate the cultural value of taboo theme.
