Application And Reflection Of Game Teaching Method In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language

Abstract/Summary:
The "Chinese fever" is continuing all over the world,and teaching Chinese as a foreign language is being carried out all over the world.How to improve the efficiency of teaching Chinese as a foreign language? How to effectively teach Chinese as a foreign language according to local conditions? This is currently an important issue involving the "introduction to teaching"."Play-learning","good at learning","good at understanding","good at learning" and "good at learning"--these are the most intuitive standards to measure the effect of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Do these five points,just talk about "effective";To be "effective",one must "adapt measures to local conditions".One of the best teaching methods to solve the problem of "adapting measures to local conditions" and "being effective" is obviously "game teaching method",especially for elementary Chinese learners.The use of game teaching method has undoubtedly added a new impetus to classroom teaching.However,there is still a long way to go before the application of "games" can be fully utilized in TCSL and the best combination of the two can be explored.In April 2019,the author went to Yangon excellent language school in Myanmar to serve as a Chinese teacher.As an intern Chinese teacher,the author made full use of the internship opportunity to learn and study the game teaching method,and applied the game teaching method to the specific Chinese classroom practice.First of all,the author briefly introduces and summarizes the previous research on game teaching method and its achievements,absorbs its advantages and reflects on its shortcomings.Then,based on the practice base of Yangon excellent language school,Yangon,Myanmar,the Chinese teachers and students of the school are included in the research object,and the game teaching method is taken as the theoretical basis.Based on the teaching materials of the school,the corresponding classroom game design is carried out in the specific Chinese classroom practice.When designing specific classroom games,the author divides the types of games into five categories: phonetic games,vocabulary games,grammar games,Chinese games and cultural games according to the language points practiced for the purpose of the games.Through class observation,teachers and students feedback to discusses the applicable objects of each type of game,the strength of the operability and validity,etc.,on the strength of the analysis of "game" and the combination of classroom teaching is the most effective way and the existing problems and put forward feasible Suggestions for further Chinese teaching,tries to Chinese as a foreign language to make our contribution to the further development of education cause.
