This thesis selects Anhui historical and cultural city as a case,from the theoretical framework of communication,analyzes the status quo and problems of the image dissemination of Tongcheng and puts forward the corresponding strategy.In the past,the research on the image of cities mainly focused on large cities at home and abroad,and lacked attention to the current situation of image dissemination in third-and fourth-tier cities,especially small and medium-sized cities with characteristics.Small and medium-sized cities are an important part of China’s economy,and the development of county economy has provided a powerful force for China’s economy.As a small and medium-sized city with characteristics,the small and medium-sized historical and cultural city has rich historical and cultural resources,is the center of regional culture,the construction and dissemination of small and medium-sized historical and cultural city’s urban image communication has a distinct historical and human imprint.The good dissemination of the image of small and medium-sized historical and cultural cities is of great significance not only to the healthy development of the economy of small and medium-sized cities,but also to the revival and inheritance of regional culture.On the basis of the research on local history,economic development history and cultural history of the city,through the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey and content analysis,the methods of visual and deep integration into the practice of the image construction and dissemination of the city,and the research on the current situation,problems and counter measures,of its urban image construction and dissemination from the perspective of self-communication,and try to explore the city image construction and communication strategy of small historical and cultural cities through this typical case.Specific lying discuss the following questions:1.What is the current situation of urban image construction and dissemination,and what are the obvious problems? 2.What are the differences between the self-talking and the construction of the city’s self-talk and the construction of others? 3.How to better form a good external communication effect on the basis of rich cultural resources,how to adopt the strategy of urban image construction and dissemination.Through the specific analysis of the image dissemination activities in Tongcheng,it is concluded that there are three main problems in the image dissemination activities of Tongcheng,one is the lack of overall clear image communication strategy guidance;In view of these problems,the corresponding solution strategies are put forward,one is to establish professional image communication institutions to actively implement interactive communication,the other is to tap the characteristics of the city,innovative urban image expression,the third is to grasp the characteristics of the audience,the precise implementation of the mass dissemination,and the fourth is to encourage the participation of the public,firmly rely on the spread of the whole people.The conclusion of this thesis provides practical experience and reference value for local governments,organizations and the public to shape the image of small and medium-sized cities and historical and cultural cities in the future,and hopes to contribute their own strength to the image dissemination and cultural heritage of small and medium-sized historical and cultural cities.
