Ci poetry written by the two emperors in the Southern Tang Dynasty has a prominent position in the history of Ci,and has been continuously spoken and interpreted by scholars of all dynasties.From the view of Ci criticism in the past dynasties,we can analyze the relationship between Ci written by the two emperors in the Southern Tang Dynasty,clarify the acceptance of them in Ci criticism in the past dynasties,and accurately evaluate and locate the classical significance and value of them.Based on Ci written by the two emperors in the Southern Tang Dynasty and the comment materials of previous dynasties,this paper untangles the general situation of the criticism of Ci written by the two emperors in the Southern Tang Dynasty from five aspects,i.e.the criticism of allusions,the image of Ci writers,the activities and art of Ci writing,the status and the influence,and makes a factual and aesthetic judgment on the relevant issues.The thesis consists of four chapters.In the first chapter,the author discusses the criticism of allusions on Ci written by the two emperors in the Southern Tang Dynasty.Through untangling and analyzing the literature materials related to them,from the discussion of the literati in the past dynasties,the literati in the Song Dynasty have shown the tendency of "implied meaning".In the related discussion,some works were regarded as poetic style in Song,Yuan and Ming Dynasties,and as Ci style in Qing Dynasty,which explained the style consciousness of CI style and the renewal of CI style concept.In terms of the theoretical value of literature,the criticism of allusions also shows that some of the literature is carefully untangled and tested(such as Series of Poetic Notes Taken by the Recluse of Brook Tiao,Qi Jiu Xu Wen,Ci Zong,etc.),so it has far-reaching influence;while some of the literature is missing more(such as Ancient and Modern Ci Hua,Past Dynasties Ci Hua,etc.).In the second chapter,the author untangles the praise and criticism of the two emperors of the Southern Tang Dynasty and the literary phenomenon that the monarchs and ministers of the Southern Tang Dynasty communicate by Ci.The scholars’ praise and criticism of the two emperors of the Southern Tang Dynastyinfluenced their acceptance of their works,showing the overall characteristics of "duality".From the perspective of the literary phenomenon that the monarchs and ministers of the Southern Tang Dynasty communicated by Ci,the Ci style in the Southern Tang Dynasty not only served as the assistant of banquet,but also served as the traditional function of entertainment,and also had the function of satire and remonstrance.This paper will take the discussion of Li Yu’s musical ability into the study of Li Yu’s image.From the reality of Li Yu’s music composition,his poetic ability is not a false reputation.The third chapter,untangling the discussion of the art of the Ci written by the two emperors of the Southern Tang Dynasty in successive dynasties.From song,yuan to Ming and Qing Dynasties,because of the renewal of literary concept,especially the influence of the literary concept of "emotion",the Ci criticism had a new evaluation and understanding of the Ci written by the two emperors of the Southern Tang Dynasty,and only after Wang Guowei came out did it give an accurate evaluation of the lyrical characteristics of them.Around the emotional characteristics of sentimentality of them,scholars of all ages have different critical tendencies due to the influence of traditional music theory,which makes their understanding of the these works zigzag forward.The fourth chapter,untangles the discussion about the position and influence of the Ci written by the two emperors of the Southern Tang Dynasty in successive dynasties.Scholars and critics of the past dynasties can affirm the Ci written by the two emperors of the Southern Tang Dynasty,but their perspectives are slightly different.Especially since Wang Shizhen repositioned them from the standard and special style of Ci,the Ci criticism of the Ming and Qing Dynasties mostly examined them from the perspective of Wang’s thinking,especially the Changzhou Ci school,which had a profound influence in the Qing Dynasty.From its evaluation of the Ci written by the two emperors,we can see its re-integration of the criticism of the Ci written by the two emperors in the previous generation.
