The Study Of The Female Body Narrative In The Film Of The New Era In China’s Mainland

Chinese women have long stood proudly among the world’s female group portraits with their subtle and restrained charm,but the expression of women in Chinese mainland movies has always been between active and passive."Female body" as an important way of female expression was picked up by the directors in the new period of China’s mainland and applied to the intuitive narrative of the film text.From a physical point of view,starting with the analysis of the film text,summing up the prominent role of the female body narrative on the film text,you can find out the connection between women,society and feminism in a specific era.In this study,we analyzed the female body as the main research object in four parts:(1)Clear concept and theoretical basis.The introductory part aims to clearly define the important concepts such as "New Period Movies" and "Female Body Narration" and to sort out the relevant theoretical basis.Starting from the relevant theories of body writing,the relationship between the film and the female body in the new era is established.(2)The female body appears in the film in the new period.After the founding of New China and before the 1990 s,the female body in the film stepped into the hypocrisy of the subject under the guidance of national political discourse,and was replaced by the object of "de-gendering".Based on the division of women’s roles in society and family,a detailed analysis of the female body group images viewed from different perspectives can be found in the new era of the female body in the film from the singularity to diversification.(3)The categories and roles of female body narratives in movies in the new period.This chapter classifies the research of body narrative into the category of "text analysis",and refines and analyzes the female body narrative from the aspects of external performance and intrinsic value.It is concluded that the desires,behaviors,and sexual characteristics of female bodies in the film of the new period are adapted to different narrative strategies,and complete the basic role of supporting the narrative of the film and the deep role of promoting female awakening.Analysis of the motivation of female body narrative in the movies in the new period.Female body narrative was born out of the turbulent meeting of the Chinese women’s independent liberation movement,enabling women to dig deep into the body’s potential in the specific field of the film in the new era.This chapter discusses the motivations of female body narrative,and talks about the elimination of female body taboos under the double affirmation of society and humanities from the social factors and creative thinking.(4)The female body narrative in the movies of the new period in China’s mainland isan important part of the process of Chinese women on the screen coming out of the package for thousands of years.The body involves the relationship between women and the times,culture,and power.With the rapid changes in China’s politics,economy,culture and other aspects,the female body narrative has made many strategic adjustments.After the 1990 s and even today’s movies,it has been more closely connected with social needs and presented different aesthetic experiences for the audience.The evolution of women’s changes is still going on today.
