JOL is an important part of metamemory monitoring.Research shows that a variety of perceptual cues have an impact on learning judgment,and processing fluency and belief are the two main factors to explain the effect of perceptual cues.However,there is no consensus on the role of processing fluency and belief in the impact of perceptual cues on learning judgment.In addition,Chinese scholars often use words or texts with different font sizes as perceptual clue materials,while ignoring the structural integrity of words.Therefore,through the operation of the structural integrity of Chinese words,this study explores whether its influence on learning judgment and the accuracy of learning judgment is based on processing fluency or belief.There are two experiments in this study.Experiment 1 is designed for single factor subjects,using self paced learning method,by manipulating word shape conditions(incomplete words,complete words)to examine the influence of word structure integrity on learning judgment,and to explore whether the influence is based on the difference of processing fluency caused by word shape conditions.In Experiment 2,based on Experiment 1,a prestudy learning judgment task was added to explore the role of memory beliefs about word structure integrity in learning judgment,and to induce the memory beliefs of the subjects by attributing them.Combined with experiment 1,we conducted a mixed design ANOVA of 2(belief type: no belief elicitation group,complete word memory dominant belief)X2(word form condition: incomplete word,complete word),to investigate the differences of JOLs,accuracy of learning judgment(CA)in belief type and word form condition,and to explore the effect of belief on JOL in different perceptual cues,CA,the impact of learning time allocation.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:Experiment 1: the effect of word structure integrity on learning judgment may not be affected by processing fluency.Experiment 2: the influence of word structure integrity on JOL is through belief,which can improve the recall accuracy of words and the absolute accuracy of learning judgment.
