Drypoint way of production is different with other type,with exquisite copy ability become one of mainstream European artistic media,through the efforts of the artists for centuries,the method of making the etchings as people the progress of science and technology and a series of change,become people to express thoughts and feelings and express the concept of art.Because of the high complexity of etchings,fans of etchings are excessively obsessed with the study of techniques and neglect the most important emotional expression in artistic works.This paper,taking techniques as the background and means,analyzes the role of techniques in etchings and the interaction and influence between emotions and techniques.This paper is mainly divided into five chapters,the first chapter introduces the subject source and research background,briefly describes the historical process of the development of etchings and the impact of scientific and technological development on etchings,and expounds the problems in the current stage of etchings and the historical causes of these problems.The second chapter divides the techniques of making etchings into two categories: direct techniques and indirect techniques.The third chapter introduces the world famous paintings with different techniques,analyzes the creation methods,artistic effects and the thoughts and feelings expressed in the world famous paintings,and further expounds the relationship between techniques and emotions.This paper discusses the language features and application of techniques.The fourth chapter is the author’s own creation practice and work analysis,as well as the author’s own etchings techniques and feelings of thinking and the future development of etchings put forward their own views.In this paper,based on the research of the basic techniques and etchings masterpieces and learning in the process of exploration and research,to find the skills and emotional expression,the connection between the author reveals the two complement each other,technique and emotion provides a theoretical basis forthe development of etchings how to correctly,on the development road of etchings has certain reference significance.
