Objective:On the base of previous study of the treatment effectiveness by using Meta-cognition Intervention Technique to intervent Test Anxiety, this thesis will further verify its efficacy and have an in-depth discussion whether the Emotional Advance Organizer by using Meta-cognition Intervention Technique to intervent Test Anxiety has an influence on the course of treatment, the therapeutic effect and the inner experience of the clients.Methods:Select twelve Test Anxiety clients of the Counseling Center of Liaoning Normal University, divide all these clients into the experimental group (containing Emotional Advance Organizer group) and the control group (not having Emotional Advance Organizer group) randomly according to the visiting order and design an experimental research by applying Wilcoxon rank sum test and Multiple-baseline design. It takes the scores of Symptom Checklist90(SCL-90) and Test Anxiety Scale (TAS) for the standard of the curing. On the other hand, it takes the satisfaction of the pro-forma state as indicators of multiple baseline experimental design.Results:All the clients’scores of SCL-90are lower than the demarcation after the intervention;the deduction rate of TAS is higher in the experimental group than the deduction rate of TAS in the control group. In the nine-month following up, all the clients had no recurrence of signs of Test Anxiety. After the intervention, the Multiple-baseline chart shows that all the clients’satisfaction of the pro-forma state improved. The experimental group’s satisfaction of the pro-forma state improved quickly and substantially, and the control group’s satisfaction of the pro-forma state improved relatively more slowly and more narrowly. After the stop of the intervention, the experimental group’s satisfaction of pro-forma state continued to improve and tended to a ideal data, while the control group’s satisfaction of the pro-forma state only remained in the condition at the end of the intervention and some clients’satisfaction of the pro-forma state tended to reduce again. However, after the second intervention, the control group’s satisfaction of the pro-forma state continued to improve and tended to a ideal data as the experimental group at last. The experimental group and the control group have a significant difference in the emotional expression in the treatments, the emotional expression in the mock examinations and the satisfaction in the mock examinations. Conclusion:The Meta-cognition Intervention Technique has an obvious effect on the treatment of Test Anxiety and it can quickly solve the clients’main problems. It can prove that the Meta-cognition Intervention Technique is an effective and hopeful method in curing Test Anxiety. In this method, the Emotional Advance Organizer has played a positive role in the course of treatment, the therapeutic effect, the prevent recurrence and the inner experience of the clients.
