| In our daily life,when we hold a negative attitude towards other people’s behaviors and words,we will use words without negative marker "no" to express negative meanings.With the increase of the frequency of use,some expressions will gradually solidify under the influence of economic principles and subjectivization,and the degree of normalization will increase.Finally,we can express meanings without relying on context.According to the different positions of the nine construction variables,they can be divided into four types: variable prepositional constructions,variable postpositive constructions,variable outsourcing constructions and variable embedded constructions,and the blame is discussed according to the different pragmatic functions of each construction The speech acts of satire,refusal,and suppression explain the process of normalization of negative meanings of each construction respectively.This paper is divided into six chapters: the first chapter describes the content,purpose and significance of this study,the theoretical basis,the source of the corpus,as well as the previous studies on construction,indirect negation.The second chapter describes the definition and classification of the conventional indirect negation.From chapter three to chapter five,according to the classification of chapter two,the author analyzes the expression of each construction pragmatic function,discusses the types of its speech act,negative meaning and the process of its normalization.Chapter six summarizes the characteristics and formation mechanism of the conventional indirect negation.The conclusion puts forward the choice strategy of conventional indirect negative construction in daily communication and reflects on the shortcomings of this paper. |
