With the development of global economy,the relationship between China and other countries has been strengthened.Translation facilitates the exchange and communication in various fields,including the scientific community.With the social development in China,its medical level has been continuously improved.However,we still have a long way to go to catch up with developed countries.Medical professionals in China need to improve our own strength as well as learn the advanced achievements of developed nations.The translation of Chinese medical papers is not only conductive to the introduction to the outside world of Chinese medical achievements,but also helps to learn from excellent overseas experts,which is thus of great importance.The writer was entrusted to translate four medical papers in 2017.This translation practice report based on this practice is divided into four parts,Firstly,the report states the characteristics of the project and the text of medical papers.Then the report is about the translation process of the project,including preparation before translation,solving the problems and difficulties in translation,and proofreading after the translation.The main part of the report is the case analysis.The report analyzes the translation mainly from two aspects,namely,lexical and syntactical levels.In the part of translation practice is about the findings and conclusion that the skopos theory could help translators to utilize amplification,omission,division and other translation skills to do better medical translation,contributing to the development of Chinese medicine.The findings of the report could be a reference for medical translators.
