Yuan Hongdao is one of the important founders of the aesthetics in late Ming dynasty.At the time of Wanli,it was the flourishing period of the entire aesthetic development of the Ming Dynasty.Yuan Hongdao was deeply influenced by the three religions at the time of the late Ming Dynasty.And he absorbed Confucianism,Buddhism,and Taoism to form his own aesthetic system,which provided a theoretical basis for the repeated antiques aesthetics at that time.He marked the banner of "Xingling " aesthetics and developed the links of aesthetic consciousness and aesthetic psychology with unique depth.Therefore,this article mainly focuses on the aesthetic propositions and aesthetic categories under Yuan Hongdao’s Xingling aesthetic thoughts,and intends to discuss his aesthetic thoughts from four parts.The first part is an analysis of the origin of Yuan Hongdao’s Xingling aesthetic thoughts,and mainly introduces the philosophical and aesthetic sources of his aesthetic thoughts.In concrete terms,the ideological community mainly by Yang Ming Xin Xue which emphasizes the subjectivity and the pursuit of individual liberation,especially Lizhi’s "Children’s Heart Theory".And the Zen Buddhism thoughts of the Pure Land of the Pure Life.As for the literary and art circles,Yuan Hongdao mainly adopted Xu Wei’s "natural theory" and Tang Xianzu’s aesthetic thoughts.The second part is the analysis of Yuan Hongdao’s core proposition of Xingling thoughts—— "Dushu Xingling".Starting from the essence of the "Xingling" aesthetic spirit,through the investigation of its origin,it further clarifies the aesthetic connotation and inner spirit of Yuan Hongdao’s "Xingling".By the connotation of "Xingling ",Yuan Hongdao put forward the aesthetic proposition of "Dushu Xingling",and further explains the inner logic of aesthetic subject and object from the field of aesthetic consciousness.This chapter begins with its aesthetic proposition,and explains in detail of his aesthetic connotation by two dimensions which are aesthetic subject-"Zhenren " and the aesthetic object-"Jing".The third part is an analysis of the aesthetic interest under the“Xingling”aesthetics from the field of aesthetic consciousness.From the three dimensions of aesthetic judgment: "truth" and "quality",the spirit of the creative subject--"interest" and "rhyme" and aesthetic style--"dew" and "light" to explain his thoughts on artistic creation.These three together constitute the inner logic of Yuan Hongdao’s aesthetic interest,first of all by establishing external aesthetic standards to the inner subjective spirit,and then from the inner subjective spirit to the external aesthetic style.This process continues Yuan Hongdao’s aesthetic interest with "natural feelings" as the core,and is the pursuit of natural humanity and the guidance of individual liberation.The last part mainly introduces the influence and significance of his aesthetic thoughts.He strongly criticized retroism and dogmatism in the field of aesthetic creation and exalted "natural feelings".This thoughts reflects the natural human aesthetics that came to light in the late Ming Dynasty,and it also makes a big influence on the late Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty aesthetics and modern times.
