A Comparative Study Of Leather Characters In Shuowen Jiezi,Yu Pian And Lei Pian

In this paper,the five characters of PI Bu,Bi Bu,Ge Bu,Wei Bu and Qiu Bu included in ShuoWen JieZi,Yu Pian and Lei Pian are taken as the research objects,and these five characters are collectively referred to as leather characters,forming the diachronic writing system of leather characters in the three character books.Through the exhaustive statistics of leather characters in these three dictionaries,the changes of the meaning of leather characters in different times are compared.Based on the collection of leather characters in ShuoWen JieZi,this paper compares the leather characters in ShuoWen JieZi,and Yu Pian,Yu Pian and Lei Pian,including the collection,interpretation and variation of variant characters.The first part is the introduction,explaining the origin of this topic,research review and research methods.According to the research object of this paper,first of all,it introduces ShuoWen JieZi,Yu Pian and Lei Pian,and then combs the research status from two perspectives:the comparative study of radicals in ShuoWen JieZi,Yu Pian and Lei Pian,and the study of related radicals in leather.Combined with the reason of the topic selection,the paper explains the research value of leather characters under the comparison of different dictionaries.In order to facilitate the writing,the research methods of chart analysis and quantitative statistics are used to make the article clear and easy to read,and combined with the comparative analysis of relevant references.In the first chapter,the collection of leather characters in ShuoWen JieZi is introduced in detail,that is,the arrangement,interpretation and classification of leather related parts in ShuoWen JieZi.Through the interpretation of the way of arrangement and interpretation,we can have a deeper understanding of ShuoWen JieZi and the use of leather characters in this period.Furthermore,through the classification of meaning,the things represented by leather words are clarified,including leather body words representing leather function,nature and manufacturing technology,and leather products words representing shoes,vehicles,weapons and daily necessities.Through the quantitative statistics of all kinds of characters,we know that the leather characters of transportation and clothing account for a large proportion,with a large number of words.It can be seen that leather has been widely used in social life in the Eastern Han Dynasty.The second chapter is a comparative study of leather characters in Yu Pian and ShuoWen JieZi in order to explain the situation and changes of leather characters in Yu Pian era.First of all,the paper compares the overall situation of the characters,and explains the changes of the leather characters included in ShuoWen JieZi in Yu Pian.Secondly,it compares the changes in the interpretation of the words included in the two books,and analyzes the meaning,the scope of word meaning and the way of interpretation.Finally,it compares the collection of variant words in the two books,and discusses the classification of variant words and the addition and deletion of variant words.In the third chapter,the leather characters in Lei Pian and Yu Pian are compared.Based on the comparison between ShuoWen JieZi and Yu Pian,the new changes of leather characters in Lei Pian are analyzed.This paper discusses the new changes of the interpretation and variant characters from the comparison of the collection.The number of words increased significantly,and the interpretation became more detailed and complex.The last part is the conclusion.This paper summarizes the change characteristics of leather characters in ShuoWen JieZi,Yu Pian and Lei Pian respectively discusses the collection and interpretation of the three characters,and then compares the evolution of the characters from a diachronic perspective,including the change of the characters,the addition and deletion of variant characters.Sorting out the variant forms of leather characters is helpful to better read the classical literature,and the refinement of interpretation is helpful to understand the actual use of leather characters in different times.The appendix lists the leather characters and their variants in ShuoWen,Yu Pian and Lei Pian one by one.
