Abstract/Summary:
In today’s society,mascots with their lively and intimate characteristics give people a strong impression that they have become the most dynamic image spokespersons in our range of life and bear the important responsibility of publicity and promotion.Although the history of modern mascot design in my country is short,people attach great importance to the meaning and application of mascots.Contemporary designers are more attentive in the design process of mascots,not only in styling,but also in emotionally giving mascots different meanings,thereby creating more mascots that satisfy consumers’ emotional needs,and can also bring to enterprises More business value.This article mainly studies through literature research method,case analysis method,experience summarization method and questionnaire survey method.Through literature research and mascot design background research,explore the current status of mascot design at home and abroad;combine mascot and emotional design related theories,analyze some problems in the domestic mascot at this stage;and bring it to emotional design The three design levels of instinct,behavior and reflection enter the in-depth analysis,and try to put forward specific methods for the emotional design of mascots such as the form alienation method,the finishing touch method,the material usage,the brand story method,the group ethnic combination method;finally,the actual design The practical project verifies the mascot’s emotional design.On the basis of satisfying the basic functions of the mascot,it brings customers more emotional experience and arouses their emotional resonance.This topic is intended to throw away the jade,and hope that in the future mascot design not only pay attention to the mascot’s expression form,but also pay more attention to the mascot’s emotional design expression,the design ideas and methods can be used reasonably and continue to give new Meaning.
