The Study On Artistic Style Of The The Murals In Qiuci Grottoes

The murals in the Qiuci Grottoes are an important part of the ancient Chinese mural system and occupy an important position in the traditional Chinese painting art.This article from the perspective of fine arts,taking the well-preserved Kizil and Kumtura grottoes as the main observation objects,and discusses the cultural factors and craftsmanship of the murals in the 3rd to 12 th centuries.Research on techniques,visual presentation elements,composition methods and human body modeling art,sort out and analyze the artistic style characteristics of the Qiuci Grottoes murals.This article is divided into seven chapters.The first chapter collects a large amount of literature and image data based on the research results of predecessors and scholars,combing and analyzing,and establishes the research value and significance of the murals in the Qiuci Grottoes.The second chapter clarifies the natural,historical and cultural factors that affect the formation of the Qiuci grottoes.The third chapter studies the production process of murals,the use of paints and painting tools.The fourth chapter explores the color and line changes of the Lower Qiuci Grottoes in different periods.The fifth chapter analyzes the narrative continuous composition of the mural and the unique single composition of the diamond grid.The sixth chapter analyzes the artistic origin and characteristics of the human figure in the murals of the Qiuci grottoes.Chapter Seven summarizes the social value and significance of Qiuci Grottoes murals from the perspective of fine arts.The emergence and development of the murals in the Qiuci Grottoes not only showed the changes in the subject matter,composition form,color,and blending techniques of the mural art style,but also reflected the political,economic,social customs and aesthetic consciousness of Qiuci at that time.The changes of various factors,these artistic and cultural connotations provide new ideas for modern artists’ painting creation.
