In the middle of the 19 th century to the beginning of the 20 th century,Russia’s industry and agriculture developed rapidly and gradually develop into capitalism,and the Russian Unified market continued to set up.Russia has always been a major agricultural country,it’s agricultural products accounts for a major proportion for the national economy.Therefore,in terms of agricultural products had performed positively in both domestic and foreign markets,especially grain.In the mid-nineteenth century,due to technological innovations brought by the Industrial Revolution,Europe’s which economy and population grew rapidly demand for grain increased everyday.This brought huge market and business opportunities for the domestic sales and export of Russian grain.In the process of Russian grain flows from the place of origin into the market,passes through commodity exchange,and is ultimately purchased by people,Many factors,such as the shift of grain production centers,changes in grain planting structure,improvements in transportation conditions,and price fluctuations,affect the Russian market of direction,scale and prosperity.However,Russia’s position in the world food market has changed from a standout in the early 19 th century to a gradual change to being evenly divided with the United States,Germany,Australia and other countries.Eventually,its market share had become increasingly small even certain categories had withdrawn from the world market.In the meantime,it has gone through a complicated cycle.This article systematically studies the situation of Russia’s internal and external grain trade during this period,and discusses it from the following three parts.The first part is the introduction of the first chapter,which mainly introduces the meaning of the topic,the current research situation at home and abroad,research methods,writing ideas,innovations and deficiencies of this article.The second part is the core of this article,including chapters 2,3,4,and 5.The second chapter mainly introduces the general situation of Russian grain production;the third chapter mainly analyzes the basic situation of the Russian grain internal and external markets and the impact of transportation on it,and the relationship between the internal and external markets;the fourth chapter discusses the Russian freight rates in different periods Policies and an overview of the influencing factors of Russian food prices;Chapter Five discusses the development of the world food system and Russia’s position in it.The third part is the conclusion.This part reviews the main situation of Russian grain trade in the middle of the 19 th and the early 20 th century.It explains that changes in foreign markets have induced fluctuations in the Russian domestic economy to a certain extent,and changes in trade relations have gradually become The "weathervane" of international relations.The paper emphasized the importance of the Russian grain trade to Russia during the author’s research period.It also reflected the insufficient development,a weak foundation problem that hard to return of Russian capitalism.The Romanov dynasty which once a majestic man finally fell into the torrent of history after more than 300 years of glory and frost. |
