The Theme Expression Strategy Of Medical Film

Theme is the core and soul of film and television script creation,and the central idea expressed by the creator through the story plot and character dialogue.It plays a leading role in the script creation and determines the depth and height of the whole script.In recent years,medical-themed films and TV plays have become a hot topic in the field of Chinese film and television creation,and become an important manifestation of realistic film and television creation achievements.As a kind of industry drama,medical-themed film and television works play an indispensable artistic function in highlighting the benevolence of doctors,showing the relationship between doctors and patients,and calling for harmony between doctors and patients.The original script "Emergency Treatment" focuses on the doctor-patient relationship,and tries to present the daily living conditions of doctors and the conflicts between doctors and patients through the stories in the emergency room: When Liu Yong,the chief doctor in the emergency room,was treating Zhang Qinghai,a heart attack patient,he passed away due to poor communication with the patient’s family,which caused the patient to miss the best time for rescue,which led to a conflict caused by the distrust between doctors and patients.At the same time,Liu’s wife,Sun Xiaoya,who was about to give birth,risked giving birth prematurely when her water broke.However,Liu Yong faced many difficulties with his "benevolence of the doctor" and finally understood each other with the patient’s family members.Taking Emergency Treatment as an example,this paper expounds the core issue of how to express the theme of medical films from three aspects by combining with the script content.The first part elaborates the revelation of the theme in the portrayal of characters in the play:Is one of the main characters,the image of the shape to render the drama theme,script,as typical character,through the performance,attitude toward the patient,the patient’s family and his wife,careful meticulous,selfless dedication to medical workers professional responsibility,the second is the characters in other rich connotation of the subject matter,It mainly includes the shaping of the image of the patient,the image of the patient’s family and the image of the hospital leader.Through the description of the secondary characters in the play,the play presents a richer connotation.The second part elaborates the highlight of the drama conflict on the theme thought,through the internal conflict and external conflict two forms of expression to specifically analyze the film to elaborate the theme thought: First,it describes the contradictions and conflicts between doctors and patients in medical treatment and the contradictions and conflicts between doctors and family members in real life.External conflicts with strong antagonistic relations are formed through characters among characters and between characters and the external environment.Second,it describes the internal conflicts revealed by the psychological changes of characters.Through the performance of Liu Yong and Liu Chunzhi’s inner world of the intense conflict to further show the importance of harmonious communication between doctors and patients;The third part elaborates the strengthening expression of the theme idea by the detail setting: One is to analyze the details of the language set for the expression of theme,detail processing script through the language to express character and strengthen the theme,the second is the concrete application in analysis of details in the script,through to the real medical scenario with real life for enrichment and representation,in highly reductive details and real life scenes,intuitive sense of enlightenment significance to the audience.
