| Nowadays,considering the current educational background,online education are no longer only limited in higher education.On the contrary,it has played an increasingly important role in basic education.Correspondingly,the research on MOOC platform and blended teaching mode also has more and more important advanced significance for basic education.In addition,assessment,as an indispensable teaching part,plays a key role in promoting students’ learning and overall development in the basic education stage.Blended teaching is the combination of traditional face-to-face teaching and online teaching,so it can take advantage of the respective characteristics of the two teaching modes.As the curriculum nature and teaching mode will be different with the development in educational technology and national policies,assessment,as an indispensable part of teaching process,should be changed accordingly.Therefore,in order to ensure the effective implementation of blended teaching mode,the construction of a matching learning assessment system is also one of the urgent problems to be solved.This thesis takes the learning assessment system of English Testing of blended teaching mode as the research subject and uses the Blended Learning Theory,the Theory of Multiple Intelligences and the Fourth Generation of Educational Assessment Theory as its theoretical basis.It mainly aims to use literature research method and case analysis method to study the characteristics and application strategies of learning assessment system of MOOC-based blended teaching mode.Therefore,there are two questions to be discussed.1.What learning assessment system does English Testing adopt? What are its characteristics?2.Based on the application of English Testing learning assessment system,what are the application strategies of the learning assessment system of blended teaching mode?Firstly,use the literature method to study the previous studies of the assessment principles,assessment subjects,assessment indicators and methods of learning assessment systems.Then,sort out the relevant researches on the existing learning assessment system.Secondly,employ the case analysis method to analyze English Testing learning assessment system,including the assessment objectives,its practical basis,tools as well as its assessment dimensions,indicators,and subjects.By focusing on its assessment dimensions division,indicators and subjects selection,this thesis will conclude and share its corresponding characteristics and principles so as to provide reference for other similar researches.Finally,the thesis applies English Testing learning assessment system in natural sciences discipline,medical sciences discipline,and engineering and technical sciences discipline,and makes analysis of these three application scenarios,application feasibility and related enlightenment.Based on these analyses,the study makes different variants of English Testing learning assessment system in different application scenarios.Therefore,it is helpful to further summarize the application strategies of learning assessment system of MOOC-based blended teaching mode.The research conclusion consists of two parts.The first one is the learning assessment system of English Testing and its characteristics.Its characteristics include the flexible assessment indicators,the dynamic assessment process and the diversified assessment subjects.The flexible assessment indicators are based on the characteristics of MOOC and the blended teaching mode,which is specifically manifested in three aspects,namely,time flexibility,method flexibility and standard flexibility.In the assessment process,students and teachers should be given a certain degree of autonomy,and flexible assessment methods are adopted.The dynamic assessment process emphasizes the growth of students.It encourages teachers to create opportunities to give students opportunities to show themselves so as to promote students’ development.The assessment subjects include the MOOC platform,teachers and students so that diversified feedback can be provided.The second conclusion is the application strategies of learning assessment system of MOOC-based blended teaching mode.Its application strategies are as follows.Applying assessment system should take the nature and characteristics of disciplines into consideration.Also,it should be based on the practical requirements when applying the learning assessment system of MOOC-based blended teaching mode.Besides,it is important to follow the implementation procedures of assessment strictly.By this research,the author hopes make a precedent for imitation and reference for the blended assessment in the basic education stage,and putting forward the implications for how to research and study learning assessment system. |
