| In order to promote the development of basic education in our country,the reform work has been carried out gradually.As the most direct carrier of teaching activities,teaching methods and teaching models are directly related to the quality of teaching and learning.Our city promotes the use of 5P teaching model in English teaching,which is named because of the first letter of each step.It is combined with the requirements of the new curriculum standards and evolved from the original 3P teaching method and Five-step teaching method.This teaching model is not only simple and clear,but also highly operational and feasible.It can improve teachers’ teaching and promote students’ learning.It can give new teachers a quick introduction to English teaching.After being proficient,teachers can not only change the application method flexibly,but also make a variety of different teaching methods based on this.This article mainly studies the following issues in the application of "5P teaching model" in English listening and speaking classes of junior high school:(1)How well do students adapt the model?(2)How do teachers evaluate the use of this model?(3)Can this model effectively improve students’ listening and speaking skills?(4)What issues should be paid attention to in the use of this model?The study adopts the methods of questionnaire surveys,interview and experimental comparisons.It combines the writer’s own experience in teaching.The research content is junior high school English listening and speaking class.We used the traditional teaching method and 5P teaching model to teach classes of the same grade with the same academic ability and compared the final results.It is found that the 5P teaching model is an English teaching method that meets the requirements of education reform under the new curriculum standards.It can fully mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of students,and it is a student-centered teaching method.It can be found that it has a significant effect on the promotion of second language learning,5p teaching model can promote the quality of teaching better,the model is easily accepted and well received by teachers and students in practice.It is worthy of further research,improvement and promotion.Finally,it is necessary to draw relevant conclusions for this teaching model and put forward suggestions for improvement. |
