A Report On Translation Of Logistic Service Agreement Between SDS Co.,Ltd.and LSP Co.,Ltd.

With the continuous development of economic globalization,economic and trade exchanges between China and other countries in the world are increasing day by day.In international economic and trade activities,business contracts have become an important legal basis for Chinese and foreign parties to conduct business and safeguard their rights and interests.Therefore,the translation of business contracts plays an increasingly important role in international trade activities.At present,the research on business contract translation has become an important topic for translators.A contract with a high quality of translation can not only enable the partners to clarify their responsibilities and rights,but also effectively avoid differences in the process of cooperation and avoid disputes arising from the misunderstanding of the contract.This thesis is a translation practice report.The source text is a business contract that the author received from a translation company during her postgraduate study in Hebei University of Technology.The specific content belongs to the logistics service agreement.Based on the practice of this logistics service agreement translation and from the perspective of Understanding,Expression and Adaptation,this thesis studies the errors in Understanding and Expression of the translator s first draft,analyzes the reasons in detail and tries to put forward corresponding countermeasures by adopting the method of Adaptation,so as to provide reference or guidance for the translation of the same type text in the future.This thesis also hopes to contribute to the scientific and systematic study of business contract translation,and to promote the practice and research of non-literary translation.In addition,this thesis explores the process of modern translation projects to improve the quality of translation by optimizing the process of translation activities,with a view to providing some enlightenment for translators competence and MTI teaching and training of translators.
