| With the development of China’s education modernization and the deepening of reform,it is an inevitable choice for higher vocational colleges to comprehensively improve the quality of personnel training.As a basic course in higher vocational colleges,public English plays an important role in improving the core competition of students in higher vocational colleges.The quality of Public English Teaching in modern vocational education system is also higher and higher.However,there is still a gap between the level of Public English Teaching in Higher Vocational Colleges and the requirements of high-quality development in higher vocational colleges,which needs further improvement.Therefore,this paper takes the current situation of Public English Teaching in T higher vocational colleges as the research object,analyzes the existing problems and the causes of the problems,and puts forward the corresponding solutions,so as to provide reference for the high-quality development of Higher Vocational Colleges in China.In the introduction part of this study,the background,purpose and significance of this study,as well as the research status at home and abroad,as well as the research methods and content of this study are explained.The first chapter is related concepts and basic theories,which mainly explains the connotation and extension of Higher Vocational Colleges and public English teaching,as well as the basic theories supporting this study.The second chapter is the current situation of Public English Teaching in T higher vocational college.Through the investigation of the current situation of Public English Teaching in T higher vocational college,it is found that there are some problems in public English teaching,such as the lack of pertinence of teachers’ teaching,the traditional teaching mode hindering students’ enthusiasm,the unreasonable arrangement of teaching activities,the lack of scientificity of classroom evaluation and the insufficient matching of teaching materials and majors Questions.The third chapter is the analysis of the causes of the problems in the teaching of Public English course in T higher vocational colleges.Through the summary,it is concluded that the causes of the problems in the teaching of Public English course in T higher vocational colleges are mainly reflected in the teacher level,student level and school level,and the reasons of the three levels are discussed in detail.The fourth chapter is the solution to the problems of Public English Teaching in T vocational college.Combined with the existing problems and the causes of the problems,the paper puts forward some suggestions on strengthening the construction of teachers,cultivating students’ interest in learning,arranging teaching activities scientifically and reasonably,and establishing a diversified evaluation system.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the main contents of this study,and then prospects other areas that need to be further improved in the future research of Public English Teaching in T vocational colleges. |
